I *clearly* love a good coffee bar. And while I've only documented seven of them over the past 11 years, I've definitely set a holiday coffee spot up every year. Today, I'm sharing my faves...they're a budget-friendly way to create a bit of festive coziness in any kitchen or dining area.

Compiling this post was a really fun jog down memory lane...a couple of the Christmas Coffee Bars featured below were from our previous home. I mentioned it earlier this season, but my garden took a big shift this year from mostly vegetables to mostly flowers (with a few herbs and a tomato plant or two thrown in). I've actually loved this and plan to do it again next year. Flowers are so much easier than vegetables and bring me so much JOY when I see them. They're practically disease free and the "cut and come again" varieties I've planted have kept giving me more and more stems all season long. How to Make Hand-Poured Candles

I've tried my hand at homemade candles in the past, but these new fall versions of hand-poured candles may just be my favorites...because of how easy they were to create and how lovely they smell. I tend to utilize candles more in the cooler months...they provide that warmth and glow that is perfect this time of the year. But, I use them so much that my candle budget has started shaking its finger at me. I always try to purchase them when White Barn (the Bath and Body Works candle store) has them on sale, but I truly go through them a bit too fast to even justify that. So, learning to make my own hand-poured candles has been a game-changer in this area. I can create these for a dollar or so apiece and have a more customized scent. You may already have all of the ingredients you'll need for this simple cleaner in your cupboard or refrigerator.  This stovetop cleaning process is super easy and only requires gentle scrubbing (that's a win-win for me). But, leave it to my dad to engineer this entire thing within a matter of minutes. Genius. I've had him help me tell you how we did this one below.

Vintage Christmas Decor in the Kitchen

The Vintage Christmas Decor in the Kitchen was our big addition to the holiday pretties this year. I didn't have a tree in here last year, but this year, it kind of took on a life all its own. Every piece of Christmas decor in this room is either thrifted, handed down, or leftover from somewhere else in the house...and most of it has a fun, vintage vibe!

I've always wanted a Christmas tree in the kitchen. We had one in our previous home, but it was kind of an afterthought. I've wanted a purposeful one...with ornaments that all have a kitchen/food theme going. When I stumbled onto some glass blown cupcake ornaments at a thrift store in Waco, I knew right away that this tree would come to fruition this season...along with the rest of the space. This DIY Soda Shoppe Sign and Holiday Beverage Bar were so much fun to put together. They came together to create the perfect spot for guests to enjoy a drink and bite anytime.

In our previous home, our red buffet acted as a beverage station. Since moving into this 1970s ranch home, we have a bit more space, especially in the kitchen. This little corner has worked its way into becoming a drink area, no matter what the season (and our buffet is a little more at home in the dining room here). I made the homemade “Santa’s Soda Shoppe” sign and then grabbed some of my vintage trucks and trees for the holiday look for this space. Check it all out below.
