Today's Neutral-Toned Wildflower Watercolor Printables are a cousin to yesterday's designs...but in more muted colors. This has been a popular reader request for some time and I'm sorry it took me a bit to oblige. But, for all of you muted-color palette friends, these free wildflower watercolor printables are just for you!

If you come around here often, you probably know I'm a fan of brighter and louder colors (you can see my home in a lot of my Instagram pictures to get an idea of the bold hues I use). And while I often do a lot of these designs in the realm of my own colors, I know that we all have different tastes. And for a couple of weeks now, I've had a number of you reach out and request more muted colors on printables...especially after yesterday's Watercolor Prints and last week's new style of Watercolor Photography. So, I tried to get out of my own way and create something that would appeal to those of you who prefer a more calmer color palette with today's designs. You can download one or both of these below.

After I took out my Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue printable from this frame, I really didn't want to take the frame out of this spot (I really love this frame, it's from Amazon here). I was wanting a simple, nature-inspired print for the mantel, and wanted to go word-free this time. A sweet little hummingbird printable seemed like the perfect solution. And, since I originally just designed this print for me, it's totally in my colors...but I'm thinking a lot of you are blue and white fans, too.

I very rarely design oversized printables. They aren't always convenient, printing wise, so I tend to stick with the smaller sizes. However, I had many requests for larger printable sizes in the Summer Series Reader Survey. I also had lots of requests for cactus designs, too. I thought these two requests would be fun to combine into one post with a couple of simple cactus printable designs that go all the way up to 24"x36" in dimension to decorate larger spaces. Today's Bumble Bee Printable has been in my head for a while. I've always wanted to create a design that included the iconic hexagon cells that bees use to create their honeycombs. And the background option of this bumble bee printable contains just that. Along with some chamomile flowers and a large bumble bee front and center, this design just makes me happy. Hope it makes you smile, too.

Bees have always been fascinating to me, now more than ever (see the below photo). They're truly amazing creatures. And honestly, I find them really beautiful, too. Maybe it's the graphic designer in me, but their sharp-contrasting colors, as well as their ability to create perfectly symmetrical hexagon honeycombs, bees are definitely awesome in the graphics department. Goodness, Easter is so early this year, y'all. But, here in Texas, it already feels like spring, so I think we're ready for the bunny. As I'm sitting here typing this, I'm looking across our back fence at our neighbor's yard at a beautiful Eastern Red Bud tree just bursting with lovely purple and lilac blooms. I think it's part of the reason so many of my printables have purple flowers lately. And this sweet little Happy Easter Card certainly meets that criteria, too. Hoping you LOVE it!
