Lopsey and I entered the pet parade in Austin's Livestock Show and Rodeo and won first place in the mid-eighties. My dad had engineered my wagon to be able to tow her up and down Congress Avenue in the big event (in her adorably decorated cage). Because Lopsey was an Easter Basket bunny herself (well, in a manner of speaking...there was a photo of her in the basket with details of her cage's whereabouts), I couldn't help but create this printable today, with her resemblance. Goodness, Easter is so early this year, y'all. But, here in Texas, it already feels like spring, so I think we're ready for the bunny. As I'm sitting here typing this, I'm looking across our back fence at our neighbor's yard at a beautiful Eastern Red Bud tree just bursting with lovely purple and lilac blooms.
