Free May Wallpaper for Computers and Devices

These free May Wallpaper downloads for your computer and devices may be my favorite in this year's series to date (wait, do I say that every month?). I'm just really enjoying the coral and green colors in all the watercolor florals and greenery pieces in these May wallpaper designs. They are available with a calendar, quote, or blank option (although, due to size restrictions, the calendar is only available for computers and tablet-style devices). Download your favorite May wallpaper design below to start using it immediately.

I keep seeing the quote "look for the good in everyone". I love that's seriously kind of everything. But, I took a bit of a twist on it with these May wallpaper designs and added my own version: "Look for the good in every day". Because sometimes days can be rough (amiright?). But even in the rough and tough and beat-ya-down kind of days, there's a bit of good to be had. I'm not sure where he picked this up, but my 12-year-old asks me almost daily, "what was your favorite thing that happened today?". It, literally, makes me see the good in every single day. And to him, I am grateful for this sweet reminder to always look for that. That quote, along with the calendar and blank versions, are available in this month's wallpaper designs below.

May Wallpaper Designs

First things first, y'all: how in the world is it already May? I still feel like this wallpaper series is so new, but we're actually five months into it. If you haven't already, you can see all of the other months' designs in the series here (scroll to the middle of the post, where there are links to every month). While they each have a calendar option, they also all have quotes that can be used all year long. And in April, I started adding blank versions, as well (if you're like me, you have so many apps and icons that a blank version might be necessary so you don't have a lot of other things cluttering up your screen).

May Calendar Wallpaper
This month has a lovely coral and green watercolor vibe going on. With the reader comments on this recent Welcome to Our Home printable, I decided to go ahead and have a wallpaper design with buffalo check. It seems I'm not the only buffalo check fan around here.

Above is the calendar option. It is available for computers and tablets (it would be too difficult to read on phone screens).

And, my lil' quote inspired by my son's daily question.

The blank version is also quite lovely on its own, if I do say so myself.

This entire wallpaper series has become an instant favorite of mine that I plan to extend long past this year. They've been an absolute joy to design every month (even though, truth-be-told, I *may* wait until the last day or so of the month to get to it). You all seemed to really enjoy the JanuaryFebruaryMarch, and April versions. I'm hoping you love the May wallpaper just as much, too.

How to Download an Image on You iPad

Downloading on Your iPad or iPhone

Last month, I got a couple of emails asking for help with downloading to an iPad or iPhone. Here are my best tips (the way I do it is kind of cheating, but it's easy, so there's that).
  • I download the image on my desktop then I email it to myself (I email myself a lot of stuff, y'all). In order to avoid emailing yourself, you'll have to download the Dropbox app (which is why I provide all of these wallpaper designs within Dropbox for you). I found a great tutorial on that here on the iDownload Blog. However, if you'd like to avoid that, just email the image to yourself, like I do, and follow my tips and tricks:
    • I open the email with the attachment on my device's mail app. At the bottom of the email, it will say "Tap to Download", and that's what I do.
How to Download an Image on Your iPhone
    • Tap the image that you downloaded within your email (it should be at the bottom of your email). The above screen (on the left) is what should pop up. Tap the little box with the arrow on the bottom left corner (labeled as 1).
    • Once you've tapped that box, the screen pictured above right should appear. Tap 'Save Image' (labeled as 2). Your image is now saved to your device.
    • Go to Settings>Wallpaper>Choose a New Wallpaper
    • My images automatically save themselves in my Camera Roll (I think this is the default on most iOS devices like iPhones and iPads). I select that and then I select my wallpaper that I downloaded.
    • You can set your wallpaper to your lock screen, your home screen, or both.
    • And that should do it! Let me know if you have any issues with this method. Again, it's a bit of a back door way to get this done, but it's the easiest method for me.

Hoping you're enjoying this free wallpaper series as much as I am.
