Free Printable Watercolor To Do List

This printable to do list is made up of everyone's favorite thing: watercolor flowers! This freebie is perfect to write down all of the tasks for your day or week (heck...maybe even goals for a year, y'all!). Grab this Free Printable Watercolor To Do List below and start checkin' some boxes off so it can become your TA DA list!

Free Printable To Do List
About a year ago, I was knee-deep in designing organizational printables for my book (including a to do list or ten!). As stated in the contract with my publisher, I had a 12-month period where I could not design any organizational prints outside of the book (that was torture, y'all!). Now that my book and the contractual agreement regarding the prints are both finished up, I am super excited to be designing free organizational printables here on the blog again. Not going to lie...organizational prints are (literally) my bread and butter for the first part of the new year (I had to get a bit creative last year). And a good to do list is always fun to design...I'm delighted to be back in my wheelhouse, designing what I love the most.

The farmhouse look is so fun...it's something I've enjoyed for quite sometime. This sign adds that perfect little farmhouse touch to any space, especially a kitchen or dining area. The original project came from my friend, Liz's, A Touch of Farmhouse Charm book. It's chocked full of so many simple-to-complete, yet show-stopping, projects! I'm sharing the sign and the book below.

Winter Gallery Wall

Sponsored Post: Today's post is sponsored by GraphicStock but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

This Winter Gallery Wall is the perfect way to transition from holiday decor...without all the sadness that goes with bidding the holidays adieu. And all of the photos for this wall were FREE at GraphicStock!
Winter Gallery Wall
I have to admit...I hate putting away the decor after the holidays. It's just...depressing, y'all. A lot of folks (like everyone except me) appreciate the fresh start and all that...but I just long for a bit more of the cozy holiday feeling. I thought creating a gallery wall with all the wintery feels was the perfect way to hold on to the season just a bit longer. AND, all of these photos were free, y'all. I simply downloaded the JPEG files from GraphicStock here. I used my free seven-day trial and downloaded until my heart's content. There are hundreds of photos available...and hundreds of graphics, too! Check it out below.

2017 Printable Watercolor Calendar

This 2017 Printable Watercolor Calendar is my latest in my Printables for Purchase collection.
It's 12 pages of dreamy, watercolor designs...perfect for any decor.

2017 Printable Watercolor Calendar | This beautiful 12-month calendar is the perfect accent to any decor. Instantly print and display. Each page fits an 8x10 frame.
Not going to lie, this calendar took me longer to design than any other print I can remember. Granted, it was 12 full pages of designs...but I wasn't sure I'd ever finish. I hope you all love the end result as much as I do. Click here to purchase your set for $5 or see all of the months in detail below.

Guest Bathroom Makeover with Holiday Touches

We gave our 1970s guest bathroom a makeover...and added in some simple holiday touches, seasonal toiletries, and special scents throughout. Check it all out below.

It's funny...since we've owned this house for the last nine months, I feel like we've had more overnight guests than we ever did in our previous home (which we were in for several years). Something about having an actual guest bedroom and bathroom is probably a bit more appealing to family and friends, right? In our previous place, guests slept on our sons' Star Wars sheets in their room while the boys bunked with us. They also shared a bathroom with our kids. To say space was tight was not an exaggeration. I had always dreamt of a home where guests could have their own space and not feel like they were in the midst of our craziness...it was a complete bonus that this out-of-the-way guest bedroom came with its own bathroom, too. This is the first of our bathrooms (besides our half bath) to be taken out of its 1970s glory and into something that better fits our tastes. We didn't break the budget either...just a few cosmetic fixes, loads of fluffy white towels, and the most amazing natural soaps, scrubs, and lotions from a delightful small business that our guests can enjoy 'til their hearts' content. Check it all out below.

Vintage Gift Tags

Sponsored Post: Today's post is sponsored by GraphicStock but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

These Vintage Gift Tags went together in minutes. You don't need any special skills or programs...I made them in my word processing program. I'm sharing how to create these for yourself...once you know how to do it, your possibilities are endless, y'all! It's about to be gift card central at your house.
I think a big, paper gift tag really makes a present special. I created these in just minutes using pre-made graphics (hey, sometimes we all need a little help when in a hurry...there is no shame in grabbing a pre-made piece every now and again). The typographical graphics I used for this were free...I took advantage of my 7-day trial with GraphicStock. Grab yours here to start downloading for free for seven full days. See below how I put these vintage gift tags together.

Christmas Home Tour

I'm sharing my Christmas Home Tour below...in all its quirky, ranch-style glory.
I think I have more photos in this post than any other...but I just love Christmas decor.

Christmas Home Tour for a 1970s ranch-style home that's been made over in a fun and quirky way!
We first toured this home exactly a year ago. It had been vacant for four years. Since it was the holiday season, all I could envision was how I would decorate it for the Christmas season. We hadn't even put an offer on this place and I was mentally decorating trees and hanging garland...I just loved this house (even in all its 1970 glory). So, a year later and I'm so happy with how it looks in all its Christmas glory. I have really loved decking these halls.

Life-Changing Giving

Have you ever wondered what life-changing giving can feel like?
This year, my family had a long talk about what Christmas really means to us...
because the "I wants" and "my list of things" were driving us crazy like a bad hair cut.
Excited to have an opportunity to really make a difference this year...far outside of our own home.

I'm excited to be telling you about a program that really makes a difference.
CARE is changing lives in a really amazing way during the holidays and year round.

Or for more information on this program, read through below.

Home Organization Tear Outs

This post contains affiliate links.
I make a small portion of the proceeds at no cost to you.

Today is the day my book, Home Organization Tear Outs for the Whole Family, hits stores.
It's exhilarating and terrifying all at the same time. Check out the details below.

100 Pre-Printed Organization Forms in One Book!
About a year and a half ago I received my first email from Page Street Publishing. They were wanting to visit with me about an entirely new concept for a book surrounding the craze of printables. I hopped on a conference call a few days later...and the rest, as they say, is history.
I was honored and overwhelmed. I signed a contract and thus started a whirlwind of EVERYTHING you can imagine. My due date for my manuscript was last January. A month before that, we got the brilliant idea to purchase a new home and move. I have to say...between December and February of that time period, I was a bit of a wreck, y'all. Living on coffee and crazy, we somehow foraged through it all. There were points of time where I wanted to just give up...but I'm so ridiculously happy that I didn't. Click here to purchase your own copy of Home Organization Tear Outs. Or read through below for more details on this new-concept book of mine.

Peppermint Themed Coffee Bar

This post for a Peppermint Themed Coffee Bar has been sponsored by
Starbucks but the opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
#StarbucksPerfectPairing #ad

I went with a fun, red-and-white, peppermint theme for my coffee bar this year. Red and white are my faves, so this was totally a good fit. I grabbed lots of goodies for this space at Target. And I was inspired to use this theme with our new favorite at-home Starbucks® Peppermint Mocha Caffe Latte drinks (brewed in the Keurig), along with Lindt LINDOR Peppermint Cookie Milk Chocolate Truffles.

I love having this space all decked out for the holidays. We do a bit of entertaining between family stuff and my husband's office peeps. Everyone seems to gravitate to this area of the kitchen after a meal...who doesn't want to finish off a fun evening with a delicious cup of coffee? Plus, I think this is a must-stop during  Santa's visit, too.

Check it all out below.

Free Printable Tea Gift Tags | These fun tags are perfect for a tea gift basket (or similar!) for the tea lover in your life
I've gotten really into tea the last few years...I used to never drink it, but now I chase my coffee with it EVERY morning. While I tend to take the easy route (I use the pods in my coffee maker...gah!), it is fun to indulge and make a really special cup of tea with loose tea leaves every now and then. My mother-in-law enjoys her tea this way...she's a definite tea connoisseur. I thought it would be fun to put together a basket or two of upscale tea service for all of those TEA-riffic folks in our life.

How to Properly Store Holiday Dinnerware

This post for how to properly store holiday dinnerware and its shop have been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser.
All opinions are mine alone. #ScrubSeason #CollectiveBias

While the parties and entertaining are just getting underway, in about a month we'll all be in clean up mode (sniff, sniff!). I wanted to share my simple tricks for storing holiday dinnerware (so you don't even have to wash it next year when you pull it out!).

My mother began giving me my Christmas dinnerware the year my husband and I got married. She would give me a couple of pieces every year. Sometimes, she'd hit the after-Christmas sales and I'd end up with several sets at a time. It's been such a treasured collection. While I'm definitely a self-proclaimed dish junkie, this is truly the only set that has been completely mine. All of my other sets came from antique stores, thrift stores, estate sales, and relatives that passed on. This Christmas set is truly the only set of dishes I own that came straight from the store (via my mom!). And now that my mom is getting older, she passed on her same Christmas pattern to me as well (she actually had all the serving pieces in her collection). I truly treasure this set and look forward to pulling them out every year. Here's how I take care of them so they always stay in tip-top condition.

Organizing a Closet for a Preteen

This post & shop for Organizing a Closet for a Preteen has been compensated
by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
#WinterizeYourClosets #CollectiveBias

The preteen years are not for the faint of heart, y'all. Not only are hormones and attitudes all over the place...it's just an *interesting* time all together. This past weekend, we finally got to work on our preteen's closet. It's hard to properly store such a wild variety of items from his still-want-to-hang-on-to-them toys to his middle school band gear and weight sets (because...muscles). We found a great solution and are excited to share it today.

Organizing a Closet for a Preteen
We're completely in the adolescent stage of life. It's such a tough stage and yet a good one, too. We are working on certain freedoms, but still trying to hold those reigns. We finally had a come-to-Jesus moment this past weekend regarding the closet situation that has snowballed on us the past few months. Check out how it worked out below.

Today, I'm sharing Christmas Decor in the Dining Room AND we have an awesome Christmas Tree Giveaway from Bellacor. You could win the same tree you'll see below in my dining room!

I've said this a few times, but when we looked at this home initially...one of my first happy thoughts about it included Christmas trees in the front windows. My mom always set her tree up in the front living room window and I'm thrilled to be able to do that, too. There's actually something fun to me about having a pretty tree in the dining room, too...eating by the glow of loads of twinkle lights.

My tree in here is a gorgeous Vickerman Green, Crystal, Balsam Christmas Tree from Bellacor. Check it out below and enter to win one for yourself!

Living Room Christmas Decor

Today's Living Room Christmas Decor post is brought to you
by Vickie's Gifts in Roscoe, Texas.

This space is the room I've been the most excited about decorating for the holidays. It was the room I fell head over heels in love with the first time we looked at this house. That mantel just did me in. It made me know I just really wanted to make this place our home. Check out how this decor came together below...with the help of a dear friend.

Gold, silver, and cream living room Christmas decor ideas.
I met my friend, Koti, almost 12 years ago. We lived in the Texas panhandle at the same time and had babies about the same age...and we both loved decorating! We had such a fun time and I miss living close this this girl. We took a couple drives together and I was able to see her mom's beautiful shop in Roscoe at some point. Long story short, Koti eventually relocated and now runs Vickie's Gifts in Roscoe. Y'all...this store is over-the-top amazing...filled with home decor, adorable clothing, and much more. AND, not only did Koti provide a lot of the Christmas decor for my living room, she's also doing a giveaway at the end of this post!

DIY Christmas Card Holder

This post and shop for this DIY Christmas Card Holder has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
#MerryAndBright #CollectiveBias

Yay! It's almost Christmastime, y'all. I broke allllll of my usual traditions and decorated the house before Thanksgiving...and I'm kind of loving it. This DIY Christmas Card Holder is one of my new Christmas items this year...put together by the husband and painted by me. See the complete tutorial for it below.
DIY Christmas Card Holder | Put together this oversized holiday card display with moulding and L brackets (and mesh!). Check out the entire tutorial.
This wall off the kitchen area and family room had been empty since we moved in last March. It's not a high traffic area, so I kind of wasn't sure what to do with it. I thought about a floor to ceiling chalkboard (I miss the one from our old house), but this area gets very little natural light and would probably seem cave-ish. So, we built this DIY Christmas Card Holder to hang here during the holiday season...and I'm even thinking after the holidays it can double as the "stuff I don't want magnetted to the refrigerator" holder. It's in the perfect spot for "family stuff"! And Christmas cards definitely fall under that category. See how this came together below.

DIY Soda Shoppe Sign and Holiday Beverage Bar

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. and Georgia-Pacific LLC. All opinions are my own. #DrinkMakeWishBake #CollectiveBias

This DIY Soda Shoppe Sign and Holiday Beverage Bar were so much fun to put together.
DIY Soda Shoppe Sign and Holiday Beverage Bar | How to make a fun Santa's Soda Shoppe Sign and Holiday Beverage Bar
In our previous home, our red buffet acted as a beverage station. Since moving into this 1970s ranch home, we have a bit more space, especially in the kitchen. This little corner has worked its way into becoming a drink area, no matter what the season (and our buffet is a little more at home in the dining room here). I made the homemade “Santa’s Soda Shoppe” sign and then grabbed some of my vintage trucks and trees for the holiday look for this space. Check it all out below.

Blending Christmas Decor Styles

Today's post for Blending Christmas Decor Styles is brought to you by Tree Classics.

I've been working in our front room blending Christmas decor styles from vintage to classic.
Come check out how it all came together below.

Blending Christmas Decor Styles | Mixing Christmas decorations from years of collections can be tricky. Here's a few tips to make it work seamlessly.
My collection of Christmas decor can best be described as a whole lot of hodge podge, y'all. I have inherited a great deal of my Christmas decorations from relatives...and I love putting it all out because it reminds me of those special people. And I've also added to my decor over the years, as well. Trying to mix my vintage items with my recent (more classic) items I've acquired is always a fun little challenge. This year, I've added a beautiful new tree from Tree Classics, as well as ornaments and a skirt to my front room decor.
