Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue is actually a song title...but I think the phrase itself embodies so much patriotism and fanfare. I created today's printables with that fanfare and love for country in mind. There are two sizes and two formats available below.
Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue
I don't display a lot of printables in my home with wording...one or two, but I've kept it to a minimum. However, I think the fourth of July is a holiday that kind of lends itself to a word-filled print or two. I specifically designed this one to go on my summer mantel. Hoping you enjoy it in your patriotic decor, too. Three cheers for the red, white, and blue, y'all!

Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue

I'm really ready for the fourth this year. It's such a fun-filled holiday. The fireworks, the parades...all of it! It just has my heart. If you're an FOJ-person, too, you probably want to grab this new Three Cheers for the Red, White and Blue printable for your seasonal decor right about now.

Three Cheers for the Red, White and Blue Lyrics

In all seriousness, though, the lyrics to this song from Charles Burr and John Philips Sousa are actually quite sobering...and meaningful. I've listed them out below for you. There are actually a number of variations I found on this one. But this version was shared from a blog for music education, Beth's Notes.

Three cheers for the red, white and blue,

For the red is the blood of our brothers.
The white is the light of the star
That has led us to where we are.
The blue is the hue of the sky
Where on high the Almighty falters never.
Our banner for two hundred years!
Oh pioneers! Here’s to the stars and stripes forever!

Printing and Using Your Printable

Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue Printables
  • This design is for personal use. However, if you do own a small shop and would like to carry the printed version for your customers (no digital reselling is allowed), you can purchase a commercial license here.
  • This print is available in both 5x7" and 8x10" sizes. Both sizes are available in both JPEG and PDF formats.
  • When printing at home (especially the PDF versions), be sure to use white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results. You can purchase it here on Amazon.
  • I prefer to cut my printables, especially the 5x7" ones, with a paper trimmer (as pictured above). My lines and cuts are always straight and tidy this way. You can grab this same Fiskars Paper Trimmer here on Amazon.
  • I'm also sharing how nifty the corner rounder tool is below...it's my new favorite gadget to really take printables to a new level!

Paper Corner Rounder
Lately, I've been really into freestanding printables. They're so easy to switch out (I display them on the above pictured wooden block, which I grabbed in this pack here on Amazon). I use that clever corner rounder tool to make my corners look really fancy with just a click. Grab one here on Amazon for yourself...they're addicting.

Please note: I wouldn't display larger than a 5x7" print on one of these wooden blocks...they're too heavy for it and wouldn't stand correctly. Also, be sure to use the white cardstock when displaying in this manner...regular paper is too thin.

Blue and White Frame
While I do love the freestanding prints, I just had to share the above frame that I just got for my mantel...I bought it specifically to display today's printable. It's perfect with all of my blue and white decor. I grabbed it here on Amazon (this is the blue version).
