Inspiration Monday

It's party day, y'all! And I'm having my own little party...because I just scraped the last bit of the popcorn ceiling off my sons' bathroom. What a chore! But, I'm ready to sit back, relax, and be inspired by YOU now! I seriously can't wait to see what you've been up to.

This week's features were chosen by Meegan from What Meegan Makes.
Meegan put together a really fun list of features from last week's party!
Check them all out below.

Free Printable Backpack Tags

This post for Backpack Tags contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Affiliate, I make a small portion when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

These big and bright backpack tags are perfect for young children to easily identify their backpack. Their shape fits perfectly inside plastic cruise tag covers...which are waterproof and durable. They'll definitely last the entire school year. I have details on how simple these backpack tags are to put together below. They're available in letters A-Z and two color options.

Backpack Tags

The beauty of these backpack tags is that they'll also work for luggage tags in all kinds of situations (including the most obvious: travel!). While they're pretty simple and geared for kids, I use one myself on my laptop case (because I can't resist gingham!). Download your backpack tags below.

Six Colorful Classroom Printables | Grab these six fun prints for classroom and kids' decor (and more!).
Who is ready for school? I actually am not...but ready or not, it's coming, right? I've had a request for some printables for classroom use. I thought these fun, colorful, and whimsical prints would be perfect. All six are included in the one bundle.

Or check out the details of each print below.

Preteen Boy's Room

This Preteen Boy's Room Makeover post is sponsored by Dorel Home Products
All opinions and ideas are my own. #SignatureSleepGold #BelieveInSleep

Our older son's room is finally done. He's right on the brink of teenagerhood (two months shy, actually), and he was ready for something a bit more grown up than the bedroom he had in our previous home. Check out all of the fun details (and his fabulous new mattress...that arrived in a box!) below.

The eclectic preteen boy's room is full of all kinds of fun details and ideas!
It's hard to believe we're about to have a teenager on our hands. And while that trait seems so grown up, in a way, we're kind of in that weird in-between stage. He's grown up...but yet, still enjoys a few toys and childhood things. And I'm super okay with that. Organizing a room for this stage can be tricky, but I'm hoping we have a preteen boy's room that he can live with (and love) for a few years.

Top Five Junk and Antique Shops in Central Texas

My Top Five Junk and Antique Shops post has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser.
All opinions are mine alone. #RoadTripOil #CollectiveBias

It's road trip, season, y'all! My favorite kind of road trip is the kind where I come home with a truck load full of JUNK (honestly, is there any other kind of road trip?). I often get asked my favorite junkin' and antiquing spots. I have five (give or take) in the central Texas area that I hit regularly...because they are absolutely fantastic and well-stocked. So, if you're heading southbound on 35 (just like Pat Green, wink), veer off a little before Austin and check out my favorite shops.

Top Five Junk and Antique Shops in Central Texas | These five hidden gems are where it's at for central Texas junkers! From Burnet to Belton to Waco...you don't want to miss these shops!
While there are several BIG shops that are very well known, some of the places I'm lettin' you in on today are hidden gems. I am more of a grittier junker. I do love the big ol' silos in Waco that everyone flocks to this area to see...but y'all, it's not true junk. It's new junk. And I want original beat-up, been-through-the-wringer, honest-to-goodness, 100-year-old junk-junk. And I know so many of you are like me, so buckle up, y'all...it's time for a junkin' road trip.

This free scripture printable featuring Psalm 55:22 is the perfect piece of inspirational art for your decor. Psalm 55:22 is a verse that I need in my life often...pretty much daily, y'all.

Free Scripture Printable of Psalm 55:22
I've done a freebie every Friday here on the blog for the last six and a half years. This week, I somehow let it slide to the very last minute. I usually have these scheduled weeks in advance, but I've taken more time off this summer. I, literally, sat down last night and wondered what I'd put together. And sometimes...the best designs can come out of complete procrastination. I'm really happy with this Psalm 55:22 printable...both in its design and for the actual scripture. Grab your free 8x10 print of this below.

Vintage Church Plates

I've been collecting vintage church plates for almost 16 years. But, of course, in true Kristi fashion...I just hung them up last week. In my own defense, I'm one who whole-heartedly believes a collection isn't something that happens overnight. And I wasn't quite ready to display all of these in a partial format (although, this may be partial in itself...is a collection ever really finished?).

Vintage Church Plates | Fun and kitchsy vintage church plates are budget-friendly collectables that look beautiful displayed together.
Today is also the July edition of the Thrifty Style Team.
All of my friends have some fantastic, budget-friendly posts to share, too.
