I took a cheese dome from the thrift store (dust and all) and turned it into a simple cloche that can be used seasonally for decor. With just a little paint, this piece was given a new purpose (and lots of bright spring fun!). See this simple makeover below.

I've actually dabbled a bit in reupholstery before. So when I spotted a matching set of these 1990s chairs at an estate sale recently, I thought I totally could handle them. The intricacies of these chairs kind of took me down (so. much. piping.). Originally, I had intended to recover both of these chairs for our living room area, but this project quickly turned into one arm chair makeover only. I'm going to be taking the other one to a reupholstery shop. But, I am excited to share this one with you below...in all its recovered glory (along with a before pic, too!).
