These You are Special Today printables were inspired by our family's classic red plate (you may have one, too!). This plate is a part of all of our celebrations, so I thought I'd create some printables that will work perfectly alongside it. Download these You are Special Today designs below.

Does your family use a You are Special Today plate? We love ours...it's a neat tradition that happens for birthdays (and a few other occasions) throughout the year. Our kids now pull it out for Mother's and Father's days, too. When you get to use the plate, it just feels, well...special! I thought it would be fun to create some coordinating prints to go alongside our plate. While these are WAY simpler than my usual designs, they mimic the feeling of the plate and are perfect to leave around for your recipient to find them on their special day. 

You are Special Today Printables

I love the idea of leaving these little notes all over the place for a special recipient. And really, no occasion is needed...how about on a Tuesday? Tucking them into lunch boxes, taping them to a steering wheel, or leaving one on a computer keyboard are all a few ideas of where these prints might be fun to find.

You are Special Today Plate

We received our plate when we got married...and have continued to use it on every special day in our family. Even if someone aces a test or just has a particularly great day (or, maybe not-so-great day), the red plate gets used. I snapped the above photo a couple of days ago...the plate was in place for my husband's birthday breakfast.

Coordinating Printables

I thought it would be fun to create simple prints that mimic the feel of the You are Special Today Plate. They have a similar Celtic lettering (not identical...but the same feel) and very simple design. I added the confetti-like dots to give the round feeling of the plate. 

These prints are available in the following sizes and formats:

• 8x10" JPEG or PDF
• 5x7" JPEG or PDF (the PDF in this size has two prints per page to reduce paper waste and allow you to print onto letter-sized cardstock)
• 4x6" JPEG or PDF (the PDF in this size has two prints per page to reduce paper waste and allow you to print onto letter-sized cardstock)

Printing Tips

• The JPEGs can be printed like an image and uploaded to your favorite photo-printing place.
• The PDFs are perfect for easy, at-home printing.
• When printing at home, be sure to print on white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results. You can grab a pack of white, letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon.
• I also like to cut my prints using my Fiskars Paper Trimmer for straight lines and easy cutting.
• I use a paper corner rounder and wooden display blocks for the 4x6" and 5x7" sizes to jazz them up a bit (details below).
