The new August Calendar Printable is full of late summer sunflower vibes...with a hint of farmhouse chic thrown in. I think the greens, yellows, and browns are a lovely way to bid the season adieu as we head into fall in September. Your favorite version of this free August Calendar Printable is available below.
I always feel like I overdo the sunflowers a bit this time of the year, printable wise. But, you all really seem to enjoy them...so why put a cap on the fun, right? Download this new free August Calendar Printable (filled with sunflowers and love) below.
August Calendar Printable
I added the second background option back in for this month, since it was an easy change.
Printing Your August Calendar Printable
- This calendar is for personal use. If you would like to use it in a commercial manner, please see my commercial licensing information.
- Above, you can see the two designs available. One has a light green watercolor striped background and the other is blank.
- There are also Sunday or Monday start options available.
- All designs and start options come in the following formats and sizes:
- 8x10" JPEG
- 8x10" PDF
- 5x7" JPEG
- 5x7" PDF (comes with two of the designs on one page for less paper waste)
- The PDF formatted prints were designed for easy, at-home printing.
- When printing at home, be sure to use white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results.
- You can purchase a pack of letter-sized white cardstock here on Amazon. It's actually where I purchase my own.
- Both the 8x10" and 5x7" PDFs were specifically designed for letter-size. Just print, trim and frame.
- Again, keep in mind that the 5x7" PDFs print with two designs per page, to help with paper waste.
- The JPEG formatted options are perfect to upload to your favorite printing place. You can upload them as images/photos and print them in that manner for great results.
Just like the majority of you (I can tell by the number of downloads each month), I actually use the 5x7" PDF designs, myself. Here are a few helpful tips on cutting these and making them look extra spiffy.
- Again, be sure to print on the white, letter-sized cardstock.
- I like to cut my prints out with my Fiskars Paper Trimmer. It has the best little wire guide inside of it that makes the straightest cuts. You can grab the same cutter here on Amazon.
- I also love to use a paper corner rounder when I don't frame my printables. You can grab this same paper corner rounder here on Amazon.
- And, as I recently shared on a post about How to Display Printables, I love using these nifty little wooden photo stands for my 5x7" printables.
You can see in the above photo how nice the paper corner rounder makes the printable calendar look (it works great on photos, too). And then I can just stick the print in the wooden block (those are also available here on Amazon). Do note that it's best not to use these in a bathroom...steam from the shower will make your printable fall over or bend a lot (guess how I found that out?).
In my own workspace, I like to display my calendar printables on my bulletin board. I love these clip-style push pins from Amazon. It means I don't have to poke holes in things I display, like I'd have to with regular push pins.

DeleteI've been printing a lot of the summer series prints to enclose in cards as I am trying to bring a smile into the lives of those I cannot see right now. I like the idea of a calendar each month that I can add to the cards I send. Thank you very much. I also like they can coordinate with some previous prints. Awesome. Thank you for being the wonderful person you are. God bless you.
