Free Printable Summer Bookmarks

If summer isn't the official season of reading, than I don't know what is! Next to a lake, a pool, a beach, or in the comfort of your A/C, it's definitely time to crack open a good book. And these new free printable summer bookmarks are here to make your reads a bit prettier! There are four fun designs and lots of ways to put your own spin on them (or just use them as is!). 

Printing and Using Your Bookmarks

• While these printable summer bookmarks are for personal use and gifting, if you are a small business owner, you may purchase a commercial license here to use these in your business as a physical product (no digital reselling).
• These bookmarks print four to a letter-sized page and include one of each design.
• See my information further below for adding fun embellishments to your bookmarks.
• All of my printable bookmarks are designed to be printed onto white, letter-sized cardstock for durability. Plain paper is too thin for bookmark usage. 
• You can purchase a pack of white cardstock here on Amazon (it's where I buy all of mine!).
• After printing your bookmark, simply cut it out. If you're printing a few of these, I have found that a paper cutter makes quick work of it. I love my Fiskars Paper Trimmer (pictured above).

• After printing and cutting out my bookmark, I like to embellish it. One way is with a homemade tassel (I have a tutorial here on making these). 
• And I prefer to use this smaller, 1/8" hole punch for attaching my tassels and ribbons to the bookmarks. 

More Embellishing Ideas (as pictured above):

• As I mentioned above, a homemade tassel goes a long way for cuteness with these bookmarks.
• I design most of my free printable bookmarks to fit into these plastic bookmark sleeves. You can grab a pack here on Amazon.
• And the sleeves work perfectly with these pre-made tassels, also available here on Amazon.
• Another embellishment option is plain, ribbon (preferable less than 1/2" thick). Simply cut a length of it and do a simple slip knot through a punched hole in your bookmark.
• Or, you can certainly leave your bookmark as is for a simple look.

Again, embellishments are optional...these bookmarks certainly work well on their own!
