This post for fruit crate labels contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Affiliate, I make a small portion when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

These three printable fruit crate labels are the perfect way to decorate this fall. They can be framed or even decoupaged for a lovely autumn touch. They're available with or without the backgrounds in both vertical and horizontal options. Download one or all of these fruit crate labels below.

Fruit Crate Labels
Before we go any further, I have to say that I learned something with these labels. A pumpkin is actually a fruit...who knew? I had to look it up, but trust me! FRUIT. So, that's why I'm calling these fruit crate labels instead of vegetable or produce labels. All three of the items featured are fruits...and they're all known for being fall-season fruits, too.

Fruit Crate Labels

This is also my first set of fall printables for the year. This is one of my favorite times of the year to design prints...I love the colors and subjects I can work with this season. And today, it's cranberries, apples, and pumpkins in sweet oranges, greens, yellows, and reds.

Printable Options

  • All three prints are available with or without the green gingham background
  • They are all also offered in both horizontal or vertical aspects.
  • They are quite detailed designs, so I just kept these as 8x10" printables (above, an 8x10" design is shown matted in an 11x14" frame).
  • Since the label part of the design is centered on each page, they are really fun for square 8x8" frames, too (just trim off the excess).
  • All options are available in both JPEG and PDF options.

Square Frame Option

I thought the above 8x8" frame that I found was the perfect rustic frame for these fruit crate labels. You can grab it here on Amazon (it's sold in sets of two and has several finishes to choose from).

Pumpkin Printables
Above, you can see how the horizontal version of the label looks. A lot of you enjoy the horizontal ones, so this print was easy to transition either way.

Fall Printables
All six design options are shown above. They're the perfect fall fruits to use in your seasonal decor. While the white background will certainly save a bit of ink, I'm really partial to that classic green gingham background on the others.

Printing and Usage

  • These printables are for personal use. However, if you have a small business and would like to carry the printed version in your retail space (no digital reproductions are allowed), you can grab a commercial license here.
  • Be sure to print your fruit crate labels onto letter-sized white cardstock for the best outcome. Regular paper is a bit too thin for framable artwork like this. Purchase a pack of letter-sized white cardstock here on Amazon (it's where I get my own stash).
  • The PDFs are designed for easy, at-home printing. You can just print, trim, and frame.
  • You can upload the JPEG to a local printing shop. Or, print at home like you would an image or photo.

Decoupaging Labels
While the designs without the background do save you some ink, they're also fabulous to decoupage onto a piece of wood...or even an actual crate! I like to use Mod Podge for decoupage projects like this.

  2. Love these. A couple words of advice: If you're going to decoupage, get them printed on a laser printer and use medium weight paper (32 pound or better) but not card stock. Even light-weight card stock is too heavy to work well with decoupage. Laser jet prints usually hold up better under the moisture introduced in decoupage than ink jet. The ink jet ink is usually not water-proof, so it could (probably will) run and ruin your project. For decoupage, the horizontal/vertical orientation with no background doesn't matter, as you will be cutting the image from the paper anyway.

  5. Thank you so much for all these printables. That is so kind of you to offer so many options. I love the green background. I like how you displayed one of the pictures in front of a buffalo check print. I think I’ll try to duplicate that in my home this fall. Thanks again I always look forward to seeing your post.
