Free Halloween Banner Printable

This post for a free Halloween Banner Printable contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Affiliate, I make a small percentage when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

We're going orange and black today with this free Halloween Banner Printable. Watercolor stripes anchor this pennant banner, with the word, "BOO!" taking the center of attention. There is also a cat and pumpkin pennant that you can use at the ends of the banner, or even on their own. Download this Halloween Banner Printable below.

Banners are always one of my favorite things to design, so this is definitely not the only fall one in our printable series (and don't even get me started on how many I'm planning in my head for the Christmas season). But, this one has a fun little (not scary) Halloween theme going for it. There are several display options you can utilize, as well. Download your Halloween Banner Printable below.

I don't do a ton of Halloween decor, but I do enjoy the more cutesy and vintage stuff here and there. The scary and gory? Notsomuch. But, give me cuteness and I'm great with throwing it all over the place. This BOO Halloween Banner Printable fits the bill perfectly. This is a medium-sized banner, a bit bigger than last week's Free Printable Pumpkin Banner. But, the pennants on this one print four to a letter-sized page...so it's not too big.

And I always love a good, striped design...especially for Halloween (I actually have tights in this same color scheme that I try to wear on the big day). Either black and white or orange and white stripes always find their way into my heart this time of the year.

There are two cat and two pumpkin pennants that you can grab, as well. They can be used at the ends of the banner, or even just on their own (print several pages, if you like). Feel free to mix and match them...or not use them at all and let the BOO! stand alone. Just a side note: the cat design is different on each pennant...the tail goes one way on one and the other way on the other pennant. I am always in a very symmetrical mindset, so that's how that black cat came to have two personalities.

Here's a close up (pictured above) of the watercolor design. I did add a slight white border around the jack-o-lantern and cat designs to really make them pop against the striped background.

Instructions for Your Halloween Banner Printable

  • Grab the free printables for this below (there are two download options for your convenience).
  • These printables are for personal use only. You may not reproduce these with the intention of reselling them. They may be used in your own decor or gifted.
  • Set your printer to either DRAFT or NORMAL mode. With watercolor designs, DRAFT mode often creates fun striations in the printing process, giving your printable a more authentic watercolor look.
  • Print these pennants onto white, letter-sized, cardstock paper. Regular paper will curl up on the points, so I only recommend using cardstock for this.
  • After cutting out your pennants, string them up using fun baker's twine in Halloween colors.
  • You can either use a smaller, 1/8", hole punch in each corner to thread your banner, or use miniature clothespins (below).

The miniature clothespins (pictured above) give this Halloween Banner Printable a rustic quality. You can grab these clothespins here on Amazon. I also use them to attach gift tags to packages. They're super versatile.

Or, again, use the smaller-sized, 1/8" hole punch on each pennants' corners (as pictured above). You can grab this size of hole punch here on Amazon.
