Free Thanksgiving Cards to Color

This post for Free Thanksgiving Cards to Color contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Affiliate, I make a small portion when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

These three free Thanksgiving Cards to Color are perfect to use in a classroom setting or at home, just for fun. They're fantastic for both grown ups and kids alike during Thanksgiving time. Just print, color, and send through the mail for extra smiles this season (so much easier than purchasing Thanksgiving Holiday Cards at the store!). See all of these Thanksgiving Greeting Card designs below.

While I now do most of my greeting card printables over on my new site, Print Pretty Cards, I definitely wanted to include a couple of card designs in this big Fall Printable Series. And these Free Thanksgiving Cards (with the optional twist of coloring) not only work for Thanksgiving greetings, but really all of the fall season. Plus, the colorable option adds a great personal touch. See all three options for a Happy Thanksgiving card available below. I've also included ideas on adding a unique message to the inside of your card.

Thanksgiving Day will be here sooner than we know! From pumpkins to cornucopias to wheat...these cards have your turkey day greetings and best wishes covered. You can certainly just send them blank, too, without coloring (they're lovely as simple black and white designs on their own). Or gift them with a box of crayons or colored pencils to a friend who enjoys coloring for leisure (that's me!). The recipient can also frame them in 4x6" frames. They're very versatile in their uses. And are the perfect way to express gratitude to others this fall. Plus, wouldn't your friends and relatives enjoy receiving a cute Thanksgiving card in their mailbox (getting a physical card in the mail can be such a rarity these days)? Plus, a couple of the designs are more neutral fall-themed cards, making them perfect to mail out all autumn long.

Printing and Using Your Thanksgiving Cards

  • You'll be able to download your favorite design (or all three) further down in this post.
  • These printable cards are for personal use, only. Using in large groups (like church groups, retreats, etc.) is okay. But, please do not reproduce these to sell for profit.
  • After downloading, print these onto letter-sized white cardstock for the best results (use standard printing or black and white mode on your printer). Regular printer paper is too flimsy to use with cards...cardstock really helps with their durability.
  • Once your card is printed out, cut it out along the hairline outline around the perimeter of the card. You can choose to leave the outline on the finished card or cut just inside of it to remove it completely.
  • Fold your card in half. You can use the handle of your scissors (larger, metal scissors work best for this) and run it along the crease of your card to get it nice and smooth.
  • Color the graphics on the outside of the card (if desired). I used a larger, open font on each card so you can color in the wording, as well (I love using different colors for each letter).
  • Be sure to fill in your own Thanksgiving messages and add your signature on the inside. Everyone enjoys a handwritten special greeting...it's like the gravy on Thanksgiving mashed potatoes, right?
  • I've included envelope information below for you, as well.

Custom Message Ideas

As I mentioned above, these cards are great opportunities to fill in your own custom message on the interior. But, sometimes, that can be a bit tough to think of. Below are a few thought starters you can include inside your cards:
  • Wishing you a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving Day filled with all the good things of life!
  • Hoping you and yours enjoy your time of Thanksgiving celebration.
  • Wishing you the best Thanksgiving celebration, a wonderful holiday season, and much happiness in the coming year.
  • May the greatest joys of Thanksgiving be with you now and always.
  • Wishing you all the good things in life, this Thanksgiving season and always.
  • May you be blessed with an abundance of your favorite things this Thanksgiving and always.
  • Best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving and joyous holiday season!
  • Cheers to a lovely Thanksgiving, a happy holiday season, and a prosperous new year!

Printable Fall Cards
Like I mentioned above, I also run a second site, that is dedicated to just printable greeting cards (all free!). It's called Print Pretty Cards and I'm having a great time with it. If you're needing another fall card, check out the above Fall Mums Greeting Card. I try to publish a new greeting card printable every week, so be sure to subscribe over there to get notified when something new pops up.
