It's that time again...free SVG cut files! Today, we have fun Valentine SVG Files. These 10 free designs are the perfect cut files for you to use for the season of LOVE (some will work year round, actually). They're perfect for shirts, pillows, sign making, and more. Download one or all of these Valentine SVG files below.
Vinyl cutting machines (Silhouette and Cricut brands) are kind of a fantastic to use for home decor, clothing, and gifts. I don't have the latest model...I still use my five-year-old Silhouette machine for these types of projects. It's great and still does the job. My favorite is to make gifts with my Silhouette. I used to purchase graphics from the online provider that works with my Silhouette's design software, but lately, I've been dabbling at making my own. Hoping you love this new set of 10 free Valentine SVG files as much as my previous free SVG posts. Grab your favorites below.
Using these Free Valentine SVG Files:
- These Valentine SVG files are compatible with all software for Cricut and Silhouette machines.
- Don't have a cutting machine? I love my Silhouette Cameo that I've had for five years (Silhouette is not sponsoring this post!). You can grab the current Silhouette Cameo and its starter kit here on Amazon.
- A lot of my blogging friends use the Cricut brand cutter. I am not familiar with it, myself, by my friend, Amy, has lots of great advice for it here. And see the starter bundle for the Cricut on Amazon here.
- Download the files you like below.
- Open the file in the design software for your cutting machine.
- These files are all compatible with both vinyl and heat transfer vinyl: the projects are endless!
- I love using the heat transfer vinyl for pillows and t-shirts. But using regular vinyl with these creates some lovely signs, as well.
- You are welcome to use all of these free SVG cut files for personal use and gifts. Just please don't turn around and sell a bunch of goodies with them, k?
Resizing Your Valentine SVG Files
Once you download your Valentine SVG files, open each file in your design software to use as you normally would. To resize, grab the "handles" in the corners to pull them to the desired size (see what I mean in the above image). I purposely size my SVG files on the bigger size for those of you making large signs with them. Once you resize it to your liking, you can send it to cut and cut lines should automatically populate. Remember, if you're using heat transfer vinyl, you'll need to both reverse your design as well as print on the "wrong side" of the HTV. Happy cutting!

I Love You More than Coffee
There are very few things I love more than coffee...so this is a big statement. I have a feeling that I am not alone in this sentiment, right? This design is perfect for mugs, signs, even t-shirts. It would be darling displayed in a coffee bar or next to your coffee pot.

You are Loved and Cherished
This was the first of these designs that I created. I wanted something that could be very family-oriented. Having a sign in the home with this on it is soooo perfect for kids to see and know it's talking to them (even teenagers...yep, the moody ones, too). Of course, it can be used in a more romantic setting, as well. This is a very large file that is perfect for a sign. It would work well on an oversized cut mat.

Tacos Are My Valentine
Truer words have never been spoken. Tacos are a love language to many. Why not have a little funny with them for Valentine's? This file is perfect for t-shirts.

These are so adorable!! Thank you so much for sharing with us. I like your explanation of how to use the vinyl too. What heat press would you recommend? I'm thinking I will need to heat press the vinyl to the fabric--correct?
ReplyDeleteThank you again for sharing your talent with us. I enjoy seeing your creations and using them!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Donna! And honestly...I don't have a heat press. I actually just use my iron. On YouTube, see the video "How to Apply Heat Transfer" from Sugar Bee Crafts. She shows how to use your iron for this. It's super easy. If I were making a bunch of shirts at once (for like a class or club or something), I may consider getting a heat press, but for now, I do simple items like you see above (and usually only one of them!). Appreciate you stopping by. Hope this helps!
DeleteThank you so much for these awesome love words !

ReplyDeleteThank you, Tamalita! They're definitely fun to have...for crafting, especially. I'm tossing around the idea of doing a giveaway of one soon, so I will keep you posted. xoxo
