Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set

This Spring Pot Holder post contains affiliate links. I make a small portion when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

If you have some scrap fabrics to use up, a cute Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set is a great way to clean out your stash. Not only am I sharing these fun pot holders, I'm giving them away. And I would love to give YOU this Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set, along with a bunch of (already printed out) printables.

Quilted Trivets
Y'all! Our Thrifty Style Team leader, Julie, had the most fantastic idea for this month. We're all giving away our projects in today's Grand Home Decor Giveaway! You can win more than one of these fun, thrifty, projects from my teammates and myself. You can enter to win my Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set below...and then click through to my teams' pages to enter their giveaways, too.

Fabric Kitchen Trivets
These are a super simple, beginner level sewing project, if you'd like to make some for yourself. Don't let the quilted part scare you...I'm definitely not a quilter, but I love making these.

Spring Pot Holders
And as I mentioned above, I'm also throwing in a bunch of my already printed printables. I print and style all of my printables for each post, so I have quite the stash. I'd love to send you a BIG set of my popular labels and tags...already ready to use! In other words, get ready to win a lil' box of happy! And don't forget, this is Thrifty Style Team day...there is more than one giveaway to enter below!
Thrifty Style Team
My Thrifty Style Team Friends:

AGF Studio Fabrics
The main fabric I used in my Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set was from yesterday's pom pom pillow tutorial that I shared. I still had quite a bit of this gorgeous Boho Fusion Acqua Di Rose fabric from AGF Studio and thought it would be really fun to incorporate it into a lovely Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set to giveaway in today's fun Thrifty Style Team post.

Riley Blake Fabrics

Quilted Spring Pot Holder Fabrics:

  • The floral fabric is the Boho Fusion Acqua Di Rose fabric from AGF Studio.
  • The other fabrics I used are from the Jen Allyson Hello Gorgeous pack from Riley Blake Designs.

I used my complete quilted pot holder tutorial from last fall to sew these spring versions, if you'd like to make a set for yourself. I have a set of my own that I use all over my kitchen. They're created with two sheets of (sandwiched) Heat N Bond fleece, so I'd use them more as trivets rather than grabbing a big, heavy hot casserole with them.

Fabric Scrap Projects
Aren't they fun? They add such a nice bright touch to your table. Again, I used my complete tutorial for quilted trivets from the fall to create these.

  4. I would use these in my new kitchen. After years of dull boring cabinets with blah beige laminate countertops, my new kitchen colors and blue, gray and white. These trivets would certainly give a nice pop of color. In fact I am painting the walls today so they would be here just in time for the finish.

  5. I would feature these on my Easter table and set my whole table to follow those colors. I have lots of company coming in and it is my job to do a creative tablescape!

  10. These colors will be perfect in the kitchen of our mountain home! We are there almost every weekend and that is where we do the most cooking and entertaining. Since it is an all wood home - floors, ceiling and walls - I used these colors to make it brighter.

Haha You know that little square loom. I also just inherited my mom's they made her. Love them but yours are beautiful. Please don't tell them.

  31. These would be perfect for my daughter's new home!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I hope they're heavy enough to be potholders because that's how I'd use them. My mother made my set of potholders & she passed away over 10 years ago. I've used them until they're threadbare because I can't bear to buy some to use.....handmade ones would make the transition so much easier.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Those are so pretty! I would love to give a couple to each mother in my family on Mother’s Day but I don’t know how many are in the set...on the other hand, I might get inspired to make more so I could still give them as presents...and keep a couple for myself, of course!

She loves handmade pretty things and she deserves a bright little gift in her life right now. Thanks, they are lovely for whoever wins them!

    ReplyDelete
  38. You would not believe how raggy and dirty my potholders are! I've been wanting some new ones for a while. These are so pretty I might not be able to use them for potholders, though. I' probably use them to set a plant on or some sort of decorative object. I might just use ONE for a potholder!

I am following you on Instagram!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hi Kristi! I'm like Naomi above who says her potholders are a mess. Yep, I've been meaning to dig into my fabric stash and sew some new ones, but, my paper crafting just keeps me too busy to do it. I'd love to win these and then, I'd have to talk myself into using them...they seem way too pretty to get dirty! Thanks for the chance in your give-a-way. sxygrndma48{at}yahoo{dot}com
