Budget-Friendly Holiday Gift Wrap Station

This Holiday Gift Wrap Station has completely organized my wrapping this year. And I kept it totally in budget by grabbing all of my wrapping needs at 99 Cents Only Stores. They have all of your favorite name brands at a price that can't be beat.

I've always wanted some sort of cool organization system for my wrapping...especially this time of the year. The old laundry hamper in the closet wasn't cutting it anymore. This new holiday gift wrap station has been perfection. And I filled it to the brim with every possible wrapping need in mind, with items from the 99. Check it all out below.

This holiday gift wrap station has made things so tidy, too!
How have I lived without it for so long?

This gift wrap station started at my local 99 Cents Only Store. Have you ever seen so much gift wrap? And only about a quarter of their holiday gift wrap is pictured in the above photo. I had such a blast picking out fun patterns. Are you a local reader? Click here to follow along with the Waco 99 Cents Only store on Facebook. They always have lots of fun ideas.

I simply attached all of the items for this holiday gift wrap station onto a peg board that is in the corner of my craft room. I did paint it red to give it a festive touch...and weathered it to fit into my room's decor. After the holidays, I plan to use it for everyday gift wrap and such. The 99 has a lot of birthday and everyday gift wrap, as well.

The key to a well-organized gift wrap station is having all of the essentials ready for the big day (or week, or month) of wrapping. I grabbed all of the goodies above at my 99. I love to add something a little extra to presents every year...so the wrapping is actually a part of the gift, too. This year, I grabbed adorable felt gingerbread ornaments as well as glittery poinsettia ornaments.

These pretty ornaments make perfect package toppers.

The Sugarland themed items at my 99 were AMAZING! I grabbed my gingerbread ornaments in this spot. And look at those doughnut ornaments, y'all! They give me all the heart eyes.

There are several different themes at the 99 for the holidays...and classic items, too, like pictured above. I grabbed all of the ribbons and tulle for my holiday gift wrap station in this area.

Several of our holiday gatherings involve gift card exchanges. I grabbed plenty of holders for these at the 99 also.

The festive lids would make cute little decorations, too.

I tried to group like things together on the gift wrap station. All of my boxes are in one area, and ribbons near them.

These plastic baskets were in the organizational aisle at my 99.

They're perfect for holding ribbons and bows. I can even remove the basket and take it over to my desk area for wrapping.

Some of the spools from the holiday area at the 99 were perfect to hang.

And what gift wrap station would be complete without holiday cards and pens? I don't want to have to search for anything when I'm in wrapping mode. So, I grabbed a big pack of pens in the office supply aisle.

I'm a sucker for red pens during the holidays. I also grabbed these clear containers with lids at the 99, too. They're perfect for corralling smaller items like pens.

And let's face it, not all gifts are wrappable. Larger and bulkier items do well with bows and such to give them a festive touch. I thought these oversized tags from the 99 would be great to have on hand for these types of gifts.

Those oversized tags inspired the look of these free printable gift tags I designed for my holiday gift wrap station, too.

I used a galvanized metal bucket from the 99 for a trash can (I'm a messy wrapper, y'all). I just threw in a plastic bag to make it easy to empty. Since it has a handle, it hung perfectly on the holiday gift wrap station corner.

I grabbed the bucket on the top shelf of the cleaning aisle at my 99. I wish I had grabbed a few more...they're so shiny! They would make beautiful planters, too. And only $1.99? Can't beat that with a stick. (Did you hear my tires screeching out of the driveway as I head back for a few more?) There is always something new and exciting at the 99. You never know what you'll find when you "do the 99" (shop at 99 Cents Only Stores)!

And as I mentioned above, the gift wrap selection was fantastic. They had so many different patterns, as well as the extra long rolls, as well. In the past, I've always waited until the day after Christmas to buy a roll or two to save for the following year. But, the prices at the 99 were cheaper for wrapping paper than waiting until the 26th. And those plaid patterns make my heart go pitter patter.

Having them all out in view and hung up means no crushed (or neglected) rolls of wrap.

I created two fun looks for gifts this year. The above items are cute for the younger crowd's presents. The gingerbread ornaments match perfectly with this aqua-patterned wrap I grabbed.

And I LOVE the Fair-Isle-esque pattern of paper for wrapping the adults' gifts.

Again, I love adding these ornaments for an extra special touch. The tulle and bow ribbons are both from the 99, too.

Ready to wrap, y'all. And staying in budget with the pretty gift wrap options from the 99 means I can put more into the actual gifts or other holiday experiences! Be sure to shop at the 99 for all of your holiday needs...they even have fresh produce for the big dinners and parties you might be cooking for this year.

Happy Holidays to you and yours, friends!

  1. I love the idea of a gift wrapping station! Like you, all of our gift wrap is shoved in an old hamper...but now I want to copy this idea and create an organized section. Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks for the heads up on the awesome gift wrap and Christmas decor at the 99! #client
