DIY Succulent Napkin Rings

Today’s post is brought to you by Bounty. I’m a member of the Quicker Picker Upper Team, but all opinions are my own. #QuickerPickerUpper

This is a fun craft on how to make your own succulent napkin rings…whether you need last minute ones for Thanksgiving dinner or want to plan ahead for your holiday meals. These are simple to put together and start from an empty roll of Bounty Paper Towels.

These succulent napkin rings were really easy to create, y’all. And they will last for years of family dinners. I think napkin rings are a great way to dress up a place setting…and they prevent all the work of fancy napkin folding, right?

I can’t decide if I like the holiday one or the Thanksgiving one better…but I just love how they turned out…kind of rustic with the “living” green touch of the succulent.

For this project, you’ll need:
  • burlap ribbon
  • decoupage medium
  • fabric stiffner liquid
  • faux succulent stems
  • empty Bounty Paper Towel roll(s)

I am able to get four napkin rings out of one paper towel roll, so save a few extra if you want more napkin rings.

Use a craft or utility knife to cut your paper towel roll into the size you desire.

Trim your excess ribbon so it’s not too wide. Trim its length to wrap around the tube with a 1/4” extra to overlap.

Pop your succulent off the stem. You can use tin snips if it’s tougher to remove.
If your layers of succulent come apart, use a dab of hot glue to keep them together.

Aren’t they so pretty? I think the succulent colors and the orange burlap just scream Thanksgiving. In the holiday version, just use the red burlap. It will go perfectly with the green succulent for that festive look.

  1. Looks beautiful! I'll definitely do this after I'll finish rewriting an awful essay I get from Smart writing service. I should have written Smart writing service review before ordering something from them :(
