Snowflake Rolls

Here's a super fun treat for a winter day meal:
Snowflake Rolls made with Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls.

Today, I'm blogging about this fun recipe both here and over at the Rhodes Bake-n-Serv Blog. Stop by and see all the fun they have going on over there, too...it smells delicious and yeasty-good over at their place.

Are these not the most precious dinner rolls you've ever laid eyes on {or lips around}? And they have that yummy yeasty flavor we all need in a good dinner roll. These would be super fun at a lunch stuffed with chicken salad...or alongside a hearty winter soup. There's lots of possibilities for these cuties. Check out the simple recipe below:

They're crazy easy to prepare!

You'll Need>>>

12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature {you can find them HERE}.
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon hot water

Place rolls evenly spaced in a sprayed round cake pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise. In a small bowl combine butter, flour and hot water and mix until smooth. Spoon mixture into a sandwich bag. Push down into one corner of the bag and snip off a very tiny corner. Remove wrap from risen rolls and draw a snowflake on the top of each roll with the butter mixture.

Bake at 350°F 15 minutes or until tops of rolls are golden. Adjust number of rolls for different pan sizes.

We had fun letting different family members design their own snowflake...because just like the real deal, it's fun when they're all unique!
You may want to make a double batch of these babies...they disappear as fast as, well, actual snowflakes here in Texas.
