{Five-Minute} Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

I'm such a sucker for a good hot fudge sauce. This one can easily be thrown together in a matter of minutes {and taste like you stood at the stove stirring it all day}.

You'll need:
  • 4 ounces baking chocolate {bittersweet or semi-sweet}
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, "chopped"
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Rough chop your chocolate so it melts easily.

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and turn burner to medium.

Whisk consistently to avoid scalding the milk.

In just a couple of minutes, it will look like this. {And taste FANTASTIC!}

This is how we prefer to eat ours. It's also fabulous over strawberries, cakes and other yummies. Refrigerate any leftovers {I've never actually had that problem}.

  3. Wonder if I could make this with white chocolate? (Yes, I know it's not really chocolate. But the idea is making me swoon. Maybe the white chocolate with vanilla bean? *drool*)
