Today's post for Vintage Christmas Decor in the Family Room is brought to you by Minted.
We've got some fun vintage Christmas Decor in the family room for this holiday season.
Check it all out below, along with a $250 giveaway to Minted!
Since this home is a bit larger than our previous one, I thought I'd break up my Christmas decor tour room by room (or, really, just the rooms I do decorate). This is the first room that's officially done for Christmas (to be clear, one of my brothers will be giving me a hard time about decorating before Thanksgiving when we're all together here for turkey day...I'm mentally preparing myself for that). But, honestly, I'm just loving having the decor out right now. We're traveling on several different trips in December and simultaneously hosting several events...having everything already in place will help with my sanity the weekend after Thanksgiving when I'm in a mad rush to get it all in place. Plus, we get to enjoy all the cheer just a little bit longer! Dominick the Donkey is already at the top of the playlist...come check out the vintage Christmas decor in the family room!
If you remember, I'm a big fan of Minted. They helped me decorate this family room last spring (here) as well as my preteen's room (here). I'm super excited to work with them again for some holiday fun in here. They have such a fantastic assortment of holiday artwork, textiles, and more.
My 18"x24" Figgy Pudding Artwork is from Minted here.
I ordered it with the Distressed Cottage White wood frame and white border.
Ohhhh...and these pillows, y'all. I mixed patterns with the Minted pillows I already owned and added in a couple of Minted holiday prints, too. I love a bunch of fluffy pillows on the couch...especially during cuddle season! The pillow on the far left is the Watercolor Pines fabric in the berries color scheme. And, I also grabbed a dozen dinner napkins in this print, too, y'all. I think they'll be so sweet with my Christmas Spode from my mother.
This 5x7 piece of watercolor Christmas artwork is also from Minted. It comes in large sizes, too. You can find it here. The little vintage Santa was mine as a kid...my boys love this thing (and they're big kids, now!).
I like to set out a few of our Christmas cards from years past, too.
A few of my vintage trucks and trees made it in here, too.
I placed my camper ornament in the same vintage jar from last year (with snow and trees, of course!).
This little corner worked out well for my tree that was in our kitchen last year.
Since this is the family room, we find ourselves tucked in here a lot this time of the year (Hallmark Christmas movies, anyone?). I thought I'd put all of our special ornaments on this little tree in here. We each pick out a new ornament every year and then always grab a keepsake ornament on trips. I love looking at these when we pull them out of the box every year.
To give my lil' tree some extra height, I placed it in a crate and stacked the crate on an empty wine box that I had for storage. I used one of my winter scarves to hide the stand of the tree within the crate. I'm usually just a white twinkle light person, but this year, when I pulled out the lights for this tree, only the middle section would turn on. I found two brand new boxes of colored twinkle lights in my Christmas stuff, so I just went with it. My youngest was ecstatic when he saw the tree in all its colorful glory. He exclaimed, "I've always wanted a tree that had lights with colors!" Ha! Feeling slightly guilty that he's never actually experienced that (gulp!).
