As I mentioned in a recent newsletter, we have just listed our home in Central Texas for a new adventure in Virginia (my husband is headed to seminary). So many of you have been with us since we fist looked at this 1972 fixer upper back in 2015. We've definitely worked to make it into something we love. It will be hard to part with. Our dear friends and realtors generously allowed us to use some of their photos below. Here's a last look at this place (also...we're going from 3,700 square feet to 700...the new DIY stuff will *probably* be about small house living)
See a lot of our spaces in this home below.
Our 1972 Fixer Upper: Moving On
While I included several photos below, if you'd like the complete tour, see it here on realtor.com. Our realtors, the Locklins, are actually really great friends of ours. And she has a YUMMY food blog here at Jennifer Cooks. I'm just sharing photos today...not much commentary.
If you'd like to tour the house when we first looked at it in 2015, click here. Thanks for coming along on the fun.

Wow! Congratulations on this huge change. You can SEE the love you have put into this house. It is truly beautiful and shines with (what I can only assume) is the beauty within you!
ReplyDeleteYour house is beautiful! Praying you love Virginia (we're near Richmond, better than northern Virginia haha). Exciting times ahead.
