'Tis the season for lots of packages on your doorstep. Let's thank the folks who are doing all that delivering with some snacks (and a cute sign, of course!). This free delivery driver thank you printable is simple to print and use immediately for the Christmas season. Download your preferred size below.

Delivery Driver Thank You Printable
This holiday season more than ever, I do a lot of my Christmas shopping (if not just household shopping) online. It helps me check off that list lickity-split. But, I also think I wear my USPS person out a bit. Thankfully, these days the love is spread across the Amazon delivery driver, FedEx, UPS, and the traditional United States Postal Service, as well. I thought it would be fun to thank these guys and gals who seem busier than ever not only this year, but this time of this year. They're certainly hoppin', aren't they? Download this delivery driver thank you printable below to pair with some snacks and necessities for all of your delivery people, too. Trust me, it will be very appreciated (I know this first hand).

My new sign has only been on our front porch for a couple days and it seems to be a hit already! My office is actually directly to the left of that numerical house sign you see below in the photo. I've had my windows open all week and even heard our mail lady yell out a "thank you" after taking a couple of packages of cookies. It was so sweet! I know their season has to be quite challenging and exhausting, so I hope this makes things just a tiny bit easier. Snack Station Set Up

Snacks, Drinks, Ideas for Thanking Delivery Drivers
  • I made these North Pole crates you see pictured above a few years ago (on the other side, they have plain numbers for year-round use). They were actually Ikea creates that I painted and gave a bit of 'merry' to. A crate works great for this set up. You can even use my DIY Crate tutorial to make your own if you're feeling handy.
  • I used a cardboard box inside of the crate (inverted) to take up space for this new purpose. I wanted the snacks to be as close to the top as possible (without spilling over).
  • I covered the inverted box with red fabric (as you can see peeking through the slats above).
  • Then I filled the top with the snacks and drinks.
  • I set the entire box on a tray table outside the front door.
  • We do bring the crate in at night just in case of animals finding it (we have squirrel and raccoon issues year round here!).
  • You can easily use a basket or even cardboard box (wrap it with festive Christmas wrap to dress it up) for your snack station.

Additional Wording Option:

Snack-free Delivery Thank You Sign
I had a request for a non-snack version, so I've added that to the mix, too. You can see the design above.

Printable Options

  • This free printable sign is for personal use. However if you'd like to use it for your business, or even carry the printed version in your shop (no digital redistribution is ever allowed), you may purchase a commercial license here.
  • NEW! As I mentioned above, after a reader request, I have added a "non-snack" version.
  • These thank you signs for delivery drivers come in the following formats:
    • JPEG
    • PDF
  • And both of the formats come in the following sizes:
    • 8x10"
    • 5x7" (the PDF version in this size has two prints per page for less paper waste...use one at home and one at your workplace!)
  • The PDF versions are perfect for using your home printer with great results.
  • The JPEGs print just like a photo or image...you can even upload them to your favorite photo-printing shop.
  • The smaller size (the 5x7") works best on smaller baskets and boxes. I tried it on mine, but felt like it got lost and I worried nobody could see it.

Using Your Thank You Delivery Drivers Sign:

Printables for Delivery Drivers
  • Be sure to print your sign onto white, letter-sized cardstock (when using the PDF versions). White cardstock is much sturdier. Purchase a pack here on Amazon.
  • Be sure to trim the margins after you print your sign (as pictured above). Really, this is optional, but I think it gives it a tidier look since printers can skew margins a bit.
  • One display option is to simply tape it to the front of your thank you basket (I worried about the wind that whips through our front step, so wanted something a bit sturdier).
  • Or, glue your sign to a paint stick (what I used) or even a wooden dowel to have your sign on a stick.
  • Another option that my neighbor did with this sign was laminate, hole punch, and zip tie it through her basket...worked perfectly!

Sign Glued to Paint Stick
A little tacky glue was perfect for gluing my sign to a paint stick (as pictured above). Now, stick this in your basket and you're ready for your next package delivery.

Snack Ideas

Snacks to Thank Delivery Drivers
I really loved the cute size of the above cookie packs for our drivers' snacks (this particular version is no longer available...they've taken out the Nutter Butters. The newer box of goodies can be found here on Amazon). I've noticed they often take several packs...and usually a variety. I think that's the beauty of these! You may even want to shop Sam's Club or Costco for snacks (they tend to disappear quickly...and that's a good thing, in my opinion!).

UPDATE (2022)- the following are the snacks that disappeared the quickest for us in 2021 and 2020 (I like to give folks what they seem to really want in these instances, so I kind of kept an eye on what was hot and what was not):

I also have a new version of this sign (pictured above) that is available here in my Etsy shop for $2.
