After all of the Halloween prints I've posted this month, several of you emailed to say Halloween isn't your thing. I totally get it. Several suggested harvest-themed prints, instead...since many non-Halloweeners celebrate that sort of thing, instead (or so I keep hearing). This Happy Harvest printable was a total redo of a popular Happy Harvest print that was a newsletter-exclusive several years ago. While I kept the iconic autumn-feeling bicycle spilling forth with fall treats, I changed up the rest of the design, since it was such a popular theme.

Happy Harvest Printables
As many of you know, I've been on a three and a half year weight loss journey. One of my big goals is to ride a bicycle again. I haven't been on one since I was in high school, but with all of the walking I do every day for exercise, I thought it would be fun to change it up and add in some biking, as well. So, I've been itching to add a bicycle print into the fall printable mix...only because bicycles have totally been on my brain lately. This sweet bicycle in this Happy Harvest print is so vintage and just the kind of bike I'd want. And a basket in front for lots of goodies? Yes, please. This print is available in all of your favorite sizes below.

I definitely don't get offended when readers let me know they'd prefer something else (well, at least when it's done nicely, right? Ha!). Emails and comments like those help to expand my designs beyond my own brain. After posting a handful of Halloween-specific prints this month, I did get a few requests for something a bit on the harvest side, rather than exclusively Halloween. I am more than happy to put some goodies like that together, including today's printable. I try to make sure there is always a nice balance of a little bit of everything here on I Should Be Mopping the Floor, so there is something for everyone who stops by.

So, if you're a subscriber to my original newsletter, this little bicycle may be somewhat familiar. It was a super popular print, but I always felt like I needed to add a little something else to it. I used today's Happy Harvest theme to really work on that. The original design was a landscape one without a background. It simply had the bike, and in small print, the words "Happy Harvest" nestled up under the front tire and the pedal.

Sometimes I look back on my work from previous years and wonder just what I thinking? This was actually not the case with the former Happy Harvest print, but I did feel like it was missing something. It just needed some tweaking here and there. A few watercolor stripes anchoring it to the page didn't hurt, either.

I'm really happy with how the end result came out. I hope you enjoy this newly-made-over printable, too.

Pumpkin Bread Printables
And hey...yesterday was SO FUN! Did you catch it? I released the above pictured Fall Recipe Illustration Printable (for our family's favorite Pumpkin Bread from a dear friend). It was a really popular print, so be sure to check it out. I also plan to do another recipe illustration towards the end of the month. These are so much fun to put together.

Printing and Using Your Happy Harvest Printables

  • These printables are available in the following sizes and formats for your printing convenience:
    • 8x10" JPEG or PDF
    • 5x7" JPEG or two-designs-to-a-page PDF
    • 4x6" JPEG or two-designs-to-a-page PDF
  • The 8x10" PDF is designed to be printed on your home printer using white letter-sized cardstock. You can then just trim it for your frame.
  • When printing the 5x7" and 4x6" PDF versions, I also recommend white letter-sized cardstock for the best results. In order to be mindful of paper waste, I create these PDFs with two designs on each of them (one to keep and one to share). Just print and cut each design out for framing.
  • The JPEG designs can be uploaded to your favorite photo-printing place for simple ink-saving printing. You print them like an image or photo. If you are asked about copyright issues, you may show them this post for reference. You have my complete permission to print these for your own personal use.
  • And speaking of that...these printables are only for personal use. You may certainly gift them or hang them in a public space. However, please do not resell them in any manner. If you have questions on that, see my complete Terms of Use
