Healthy and EASY School Lunch Ideas

School lunch making doesn't have to be a chore! It can be fun, healthy, AND easy with these cool snacks from NatureBox {that I sometimes snack on myself...they're so good!}. Check out a few of my healthy and easy school lunch ideas below.

When I get tired of lunch-making {it happens}...it turns into a several-days-in-a-row cafeteria buying frenzy {UGH!}. While buying occasionally is okay, health-wise, I really prefer to pack lunches as much as I possibly can. And with some easy pre-made snacks and ideas, I'm more likely to stick to the plan. Check out the fun>>>

So, I got this awesome NatureBox subscription and I'm kind of in love with it. I'd never done a subscription service like this, but have always wanted to and been curious. It was well worth it to me. This goodness came straight to my door...after I went through and hand picked it all out on the NatureBox Snack Catalog. I was amazed at how much was in each bag. There's a BUNCH of yumminess in each package...which means lots and lots of lunches and snacks come out of each bag. The way our lunches are priced at our school... the NatureBox is a lot more economical than my kids buying cafeteria lunches. And, it's all healthy. Each snack contains wholesome ingredients {with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors}.If you have a specific dietary goal or taste preference, NatureBox has 100+ snacks to excite and delight every palate.

And to be completely up front, although I am compensated for this post and was supplied the above NatureBox subscription...I actually plan to continue my subscription and change up my order a bit next month to try even more of their snacks {except those Sunshine Chips may be a permanent staple...and the Praline Pumpkin Seeds...actually, I loved it all}!

Below are some healthy and school lunch ideas using my NatureBox snacks {and even some delicious muffins that are baked with the Praline Pumpkin Seeds}.

The above box is full of flavor with the all natural Peanut Butter Nom Noms, Sunshine Chips and Praline Pumpkin Seeds in the small container. It also has fresh blueberries, carrots, and celery. The smaller portions are perfect for my younger son. Smaller portions of more foods equal a great variety that he'll really eat!

I made a fun salad for my older son that incorporated spinach, blueberries, the Praline Pumpkin Seeds from our NatureBox and a sweet dressing {along with blue cheese crumbles}. I put them in separate containers so nothing would get soggy before lunchtime {the dressing and pumpkin seed containers both have lids to prevent spillage}. I also included a yummy Whole Wheat Blueberry Figgy Bar and the savory South Pacific Plantains {both of which are NatureBox items}.

I love having premade items on hand...like this muffin that has Praline Pumpkin Seeds baked onto it {recipe details below}. I also included some of the South Pacific Plantains, a Blueberry Figgy Bar and some fresh fruit and carrots. Minimal prep work is music to my ears!

I knew when these Praline Pumpkin Seeds were in my NatureBox that they were just screaming to be added to a fun pumpkin recipe {as well as tossed back into my mouth by the handful!}.

The texture that the Praline Pumpkin Seeds added to these pumpkin muffins was just fabulous!! I posted the recipe here last week if you'd like to check it out. They're perfect to make ahead and freeze. Then, just pop them into the lunch box so they'll thaw by noon.

I also put a little extra muffin batter and seeds in one of my pumpkin molds! And, seriously...could the Sunshine Chips look any yummier? They were so good!! This particular box is perfect for kiddos who also have a snack time at school. The Sunshine Chips are a great snack! And the sandwich, grapes, and Praline Pumpkin Seed Muffins are a delicious lunch.

And if you prefer to not pack your child's snack into their lunch kit, they're perfect to tuck into their bags, too! These Blueberry Figgy Bars {along with lots of other options from the extensive NatureBox Snack Catalog} are great for this.
