Today’s Fall Buffet Decor post is sponsored by Hobby Lobby,
but style inspiration and opinions are my own.
I revamped my fall buffet decor after a fun little trip to Hobby Lobby.
I mean...have you seen their fall decor, y'all? It's serious eye candy for all of us autumn lovers!
As all good stories on DIY blogs start out, this one begins at Hobby Lobby. My husband and I were on a date there last weekend (yes, Hobby Lobby is definitely a date option when you've been married for almost 14 years...it's totes romantic with all of its foliage, y'all...and our kids weren't there. That all equates to a legitimate date.). We ended up getting a few new fun things for our dining room buffet. As the holidays get closer, I'm trying to work a bit more on this room, since this will be our first time hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners in this new home of ours. Check out how we made this space over below.
Here's where we started. I had my copper mule mugs sitting here all summer...but with fall, I actually start using those dishes, so displaying them here wouldn't be ideal.
I started out with one of these BIG jugs from the decor area in Hobby Lobby. I have always wanted one of these, y'all. I see the olive oil or wine ones all the time at antique stores, but they were a bit over my budget. This one was perfect! I added some wheat that I found over in Hobby Lobby's fall department (I've got details on it below).
I did reuse my copper mule mug tray and filled it with pumpkins, pine cones, and acorns...all of which were just calling my name in Hobby Lobby.
Another cutie I couldn't live without.
My husband helped me hang the burlap garland above my chalkboard.
I love the texture it added to this space.
I found it in the fall department, too...with the floral swags, wreaths, and garlands.
Everything here is pretty simple, but I love how it came together and brought even more fall into this space.
Hobby Lobby truly is a fabulous fall resource. Check out my little trip there, below.
Not only was Hobby Lobby's fall department in check, I loved this fun fall Christmas tree, too!
This little chalkboard frame is so fun. Would be perfect for pumpkin patch photos.
These are some of the pumpkins that I purchased for my copper tray.
All of the aisles are so festive and fallish! Loving these cute kitchen towels and banners.
I often use their paper goods for casual fall gatherings, too. They're super sturdy.
This is the wheat I mentioned above. It can also be found in the fall area.
Even outside of the fall department, lots of fun floral displays are everywhere in the store.
I love using this kind of pumpkin in decor...you never have to worry about rot!
I actually have a couple of these little pumpkin friends! Love all the metallics.
Have you been to your local Hobby Lobby this fall?
If you haven't, you're in for a real treat, y'all.
Oh, and just to be clear...I'm pretty sure this is the text book way to transport your big glass jug home from Hobby Lobby. Safety first, right? ;)
Here's to a wonderful fall season of friends, family, good food,
and great entertaining in this new space of ours. Cheers!
