These Free Printable Countdown Bag Tags are perfect for celebrating every day until Christmas.
Countdown bags are a fun way to count the days until the big guy slides down the chimney. My kids love it when we do these. I fill the bags with inexpensive dollar store goodies, as well as activity ideas. Then I seal them with these cute number tags. They make the days leading up to Christmas really fun and memorable. Do you ever not do a tradition and everyone notices? Like, everyone. Last year, I was that mom, y'all. I didn't do our usual paper bag countdown to Christmas that I had done in years prior. These were never anything fancy...most of the time they were filled with fun activity ideas like baking cookies or reading a Christmas story. But it was wailing and gnashing of teeth...I had some sad people on my hands. And I really missed the bags, too...all of the little activity ideas and small treats that they brought (in a more organized manner than I usually do). So, this year...the bags are back, baby! I thought it would be fun to dress them up with cute little number tags.
I used these red lunch bags that I bought here on Amazon (they're only in sets of 12, so grab two sets to have enough. I also grabbed these cute miniature clothespins here on Amazon, as well.
If you'd rather secure them a bit "tighter" (for lookie-loos), you can hole-punch them and secure them with Baker's Twine. Grab a mini hole punch here and Baker's Twine here.
These are so fun and always bring a smile to our faces. They don't have to be elaborate.
Just print, cut, and fold each number tag in half. Then secure on top.
