14 years ago, we moved again...back to central Texas where my roots run deep. In a nutshell, my business has changed a lot over the years, but I still love working one-on-one with people to create designs around their lives, careers and businesses.
I've been a blogger since 2006. I started ishouldbemoppingthefloor in 2011 as a way to get my graphic business "out there". And the blogging has now become a full-time job on its own.
My graphic business has definitely transformed itself into the biggest part of the blog...I offer hundreds of free printables here on the blog and even have a spot for some bundled printables that I sell here, too.
We've been DIYers our whole marriage. And I definitely come from a DIY family (you'll see my dad working with me a lot in my posts). It's such a delight to take something from ho-hum to WOW with our own skills and ideas. We definitely make mistakes along the way and we try our best to be transparent with them so others can learn from our craziness.
We recently purchased a 1972 fixer upper that we're working our way through updating one room at a time. We always work to keep costs low and do projects that others can relate to for their own homes. Some of my favorite projects are my DIY kitchen island expansion, our $30 board and batten project and my dining room overhaul to name a few. To see our entire list of projects, including crafts and other fun stuff, click here.
My husband is a high school principal, which also keeps life pretty fun and hopping. Our boys are in the teenage years and are the most awesome kiddos I've ever laid eyes and lips on. Seriously, they kind of rock.
Above all, we love the Lord.
Join me on this crazy blogging journey filled with loads of printables, projects, crafts, tips, and even some serious eccentricities.
Thanks bunches for stopping by, friends.
