Today's patriotic designs are perfect for all of you vintage Americana fans out there. And these prints are not only great to decorate with right now, but all summer long. I also have extended sizes available in these free vintage fourth of July printables. Download yours below.
I have a simple little patriotic vignette tucked in the corner of my sunroom this year. Today's vintage fourth of July printable was the perfect addition to this space. This sweet American flag waving girl is ready to cheer on the fourth (and probably star in an old-fashioned parade in that outfit!). You can see both design options and sizes for this freebie below.
These new vintage designs are simple, but really add that red, white, and blue flair to your summertime decor. I just love vintage stuff for the fourth and this print definitely fulfills that need!
Printable Sizes and Formats
Today's vintage design comes in the nice, big extended sizes (great for your mantel or entryway). The following sizes and formats are available:
- 11x14" JPEG
- 11x14" PDF
- 8x10" JPEG
- 8x10" PDF
- 5x7" JPEG
- 5x7" PDF (this version comes with two designs per page to reduce paper waste and allow you to easily print on a full, letter-sized page)
Printing and Display Tips
- The 11x14" sizes are best printed by professionals. I uploaded mine to my local print FedEx Office. In the above photo, you can see how they look...I actually have them printed onto 11x17" paper, which is why there is extra space. Then I can pick up the print in person at the shop. Our local Walgreens also has this option (they also have half price deals all the time).
- The smaller JPEG versions (the 8x10" and 5x7") are also great to upload and print at your local print shop or photo-printing company. They print like any image or photo.
- The PDF formatted versions of the 8x10" and 5x7" designs can easily be printed at home. They both print onto letter-sized pages. It's best to print onto white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results (regular paper can look off-color and greyish when framed). Purchase a pack of white letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon.
- I love displaying prints on these fun poster magnet hangers (pictured above). This is the 11" version, but I also have an 8.5" one, too. They're awesome!
The hanger pieces use magnets to "sandwich" the print in between them (as pictured above). Then the bottom bar works the same and also adds weight so the page never curls up on the corners. Again, these are available through Amazon:
While the white background option really makes the graphic pop off the page, I am partial to the red and blue ticking background design. I felt like it added to the vintage flair.
This little sunroom vignette makes me smile. If you like the little paper firecrackers, they are also free printables that can be found here.
