5 Free Fall Facebook Covers

I absolutely love changing things up seasonally. And Facebook is another fun (and free) place to "decorate" for the seasons. Today, I'm sharing five free Fall Facebook Covers to get your timeline ready for the upcoming season. From leaves, to pumpkins, to florals, to sweaters...there is a fall pattern that is surely going to make you weak in the knees. Find your favorite version of these fall Facebook covers listed out below. 

We're rounding that corner into the fall season. While there are still a few days (okay, weeks) until the official start of autumn, I think we're all very ready for it. Soon, that glorious (cooler!) season will be upon us, and I for one, can't wait. I put together five free Fall Facebook Covers to get us all excited about the new season. Fall Facebook Covers

I went a slightly different direction than usual with this set of Facebook freebies. Normally, I throw in a few quotes, but I've noticed that those don't get downloaded nearly as much as the patterned-based designs. So, this time around, it's just patterns of fall prettiness for you. Each of these designs is a symmetrical version of some of your favorite fall objects.

Today's collection of Fall Facebook Covers is actually the eighth installment of this new, year-long series of Facebook freebies that I started back in January of 2020. See the others listed out below:

• My The first set of free covers realeased in January are fantastic for the winter season here.
• And the Valentines set (released for February) was jammed-packed with lots of LOVE (of course).
• The Spring Facebook Cover Photos were released in March. They were a lovely way to usher in the new season.
• I also gave an update to an existing set of Free Easter Facebook Covers back in April to include seven unique designs.
• And in May, we went with an Inspirational Facebook Covers theme, in light of all that's going on in the world right now.
• The Summer Facebook Covers were filled with ice cream, flip flops, and loads of tropical goodness.
• And last month, I released a Late Summer Facebook Cover set that was a great "in-between seasons" set filled with butterflies, berries, and sunflowers.

Installing your Fall Facebook Covers

Facebook often changes their features and functions from time to time (which can be frustrating when designing new ones). However, below, I have put together the current method (as of September, 2020) of changing out your cover image on a Facebook timeline. Again, be sure to check out my entire collection of free Facebook covers to change yours out seasonally, or whenever the mood strikes. All of my Facebook cover designs are sized at 1640 x 720 pixels, which is the current standard Facebook cover size dimension (again, these tend to change from time to time).

• Begin the process of switching out your Facebook cover by hovering your mouse over the top lefthand corner of your current image on Facebook over the small camera icon (as pictured above).
• An "Update Cover Photo" message (in the horizontal rectangular black box in that top lefthand corner) should appear on its own when you hover your mouse on top of it (as pictured above).
• Click that "Update Cover Photo" box. The dropdown menu should reveal itself (again, you can see this in the image above).
• Now, select the "Upload Photo" option.
• Locate your new Fall Facebook Cover on your device.

• Once you've located and selected your new Fall Facebook cover on your device, your new image should appear in your timeline's large photo area (as pictured above).
• A greyed-out, opaque box should populate in the middle of your new design that says "Drag to Move Cover Photo". You are now able to adjust your timeline image to suit your preferences.
• When you're happy with the positioning and size of your cover, be sure to click "Save Changes" (you'll see a blue box in the bottom right corner of your Facebook page with this option).
• Your new fall design should be in place and ready for the cozy autumn season!
• Feel free to leave a link to this Fall Facebook Covers post in the comments section of your new cover. That way all of your friends can pop in to select their own Fall Facebook Cover, as well. This is certainly not required, but I certainly appreciate it.
