This We Can Do Hard Things design was a request from a teacher friend for her classroom. However, I thought it was appropriate for so many things, especially right now in these uncertain times, so I made it a printable for everyone to enjoy. It's a super simple design, but it is available in two colors. Download your favorite version of this We Can Do Hard Things printable below.
We actually use this particular phrase a lot in our family...even more-so when our boys were little (pulling a loose tooth, first day of school jitters, learning to ride a bike...). The phrase was just perfect for some instant inspiration in a time of nervousness. Also, it works for grown ups, too. I say it to myself in tough situations. I kept it super simple this time...just 8x10" sizes, but I do have two formats and then the two colors, as well. Hoping this adds a little inspiration wherever you might need it.
We Can Do Hard Things
This phrase never ceases to remind me of that classic Rosie the Riveter poster: strong arm up, polka-dotted kerchief, and the "We Can Do It" phrase emblazoned across the top. When my friend asked me to create something with this sentiment, my mind immediately went to Rosie. And even if it's decades later, we've got this friends. We're in this together.
I also thought this would be a fun print for random printables stuck around town. As I was walking my neighborhood this week, I noticed a sign taped to a few doors saying "smile...you're loved". It was so sweet. I'm trying not to be sad that apparently my street wasn't on the list for these, but the message was just wonderful and so heartwarming. They weren't even stuck to my house, but they still made me smile with each and every one I spotted. I think this We Can Do Hard Things design would be perfect for that kind of fun display, as well. Stick them in library books, pin them up in your company's break room. The sky is the limit.
