Gnome-doubt about it, these free Valentine Gnome Printables are going to work their way right into your heart this season. They are available in two sizes, two formats, and two background options. Because gnome-one can resist a sweet Valentine gnome...amiright?

Valentine Gnome
Is this little Valentine Gnome fella not the sweetest? He's here to offer you a big ol' heart full of love (or chocolate...however you'd like to interpret his gift). Grab your favorite version of this printable below.

I've wanted to put together a Valentine Gnome printable for the longest time, y'all. I mean, gnomes just feel like the epitome of the Valentine season. And this guy's red gnome hat and shiny boots are the icing on his little Valentine self. And you can grab this print with or without the background (if you're looking to save some ink, go background free). Personally, the one with the pink gingham and heart background is my favorite version, but either print will look adorable with your seasonal decor.

Below left, you can see how this printable looks with the background (it feels like it kind of anchors the little gnome to the page, but that's just my own perception). On the below right, you can see the same print without a background...which in its own way is fun since the gnome kind of pops off the page.

Using and Printing Your Valentine Gnome Prints

  • Please note that all versions of this printable are for personal use only. Please do not reproduce these to resell in any manner (including packaging and decor in a commercial venue). Nonprofit use is okay.
  • You'll be able to download your favorite size and format below.
  • This printable is available in both 5x7" and 8x10" sizes.
  • The sizes are available in the following formats:
    • 8x10" PDF
    • 8x10" JPEG
    • 5x7" two-prints-to-a-page PDF (one to keep and one to share)
    • 5x7" JPEG
  • The PDF versions are recommended for at-home printing. They will stay true to size and easily print for you.
  • When printing either of the PDF sizes at home, simply use letter-sized white cardstock for the best results. Regular paper is too thin for printed art of this nature. It will dull the colors and not look as fabulous as intended.
  • After printing onto your cardstock, trim the edges and frame (the 5x7" white background versions have light pink outlines to make this easy).

Give it an Extra Special Touch

  • Print out two copies of the same size/format, but one with the background and one without.
  • Using the one without the background, use an X-Acto or craft knife to cut out the gnome. It's best to do this on a self-healing cutting mat to protect your surfaces.
  • Use mounting tape to adhere your cut out gnome onto the page with the background (directly on top of the other gnome). This will give you a fun, 3-D look. You can add a third gnome, too, for even more dimension.
  • If you decide to go this route, simply leave the glass out of your frame when you display your Valentine Gnome.
