'Tis the season for festive fun, and well, the flu (and colds, sniffles, etc.). While it's the most wonderful time of the year, it can also be the most germy time. I created these Christmas Teacher Gift Tags for several uses, but mainly for a gift of thoughtful products that can be helpful when your teacher is down with a bug. There are also "Teacher Hall Passes" available, too. These make great gifts this season.

Christmas Teacher Gift Tags and Printables

If you've been around here much, you know I love creating free printable gift tags. And ones with specific purposes are that much more fun to incorporate into your gifting, this season and always.

These tags incorporate the "winter break" wording, as well, making them a little more neutral for the classroom setting. And sending a few well wishes for a healthy break is certainly welcome, I'm sure.

Teacher Gift Basket

Before I share the tags and passes, I am passing along some ideas for a wellness basket (as pictured above). Besides the fuzzy socks tucked in, and Vicks-scented tissues, I incorporated products to help when your teacher is down and out with a cold or flu.

Winter Vicks Products
Besides gifting these Vicks products this season, be sure to stock up on them for your own home. Pictured above are Vicks VapoCOOL Lozenges, Vicks Night Time FluTherapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Treatment, Vicks VapoPatch, Vicks VapoCOOL Sore Throat Spray, Vicks VapoCream, Vicks VapoShower, Vicks Non-Drowsy FluTherapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Treatment. Vicks products are the complete solution for your Cold, Cough, and Flu season needs.

Vicks Flu Products
Vicks VapoPatch (pictured above on the left) can provide soothing Vicks vapors through a nifty aromatherapy patch. Just peel, apply, and breathe in long lasting Vicks Vapors. There are children's versions and normal versions available, both non-medicated.

Pictured above in the middle is Vicks VapoCOOL Sore Throat Spray. It's a great way to get rid of a sore throat fast. Vicks VapoCOOL Sore Throat Spray uses a targeted intense cooling and powerful numbing medicine. It can vaporize sore throat pain and provide on-the-spot relief. It's for ages 12 and up.

Vicks VapoCOOL Lozenges are another great way to soothe a sore throat (pictured above on the right). They provide a nice relief to sore throats with a powerful numbing agent. They're for ages 12 and up.

Vapo Shower and Rub
Two of my personal favorites are pictured above...they can help you create an almost spa-like atmosphere when you're not feeling your best.

Vicks VapoShower (pictured above on the left) is a set of shower tablets that infuse with your shower steam- talk about elevating a shower experience! If you’re feeling tired or rundown, turn that shower into a Vicks Vapo Sauna in minutes. I love that these dissolve cleanly, too. Just place on the shower floor in a direct stream of water. Continue running the shower until the tablet is completely dissolved. These are for adults only. Be sure to keep out of reach of children.

And yay for Vicks VapoCream (pictured above right)! VapoCream combines the fantastic Vicks vapors in a moisturizing and easy-to-use cream with the power of Vicks. It's great to moisturize your skin and has a long-lasting scent of Vicks vapors. It's for ages 2 and up.

Wellness Gift Basket
I know I'd love to receive a basket of Vicks goodies this winter. It's so nice to have all of these on hand.

Teacher Hall Pass
You can also tuck one of my Teacher Hall Pass printables into your wellness basket, as well. They make for a good little smile from your teacher...who probably doesn't take a lot of time for self-care (like most of us).

Printing and Using these Printables

  • You'll be able to download both of these files below.
  • Gift tags and prints like these hall passes work best when printed onto white cardstock. Both of these prints are designed to be used with letter-sized cardstock.
  • Cut out either of the designs around their outer red perimeter, leaving it in place as a border.
  • Use a smaller (1/8") hole punch to punch your holes on these tags. I like the smaller punch because it doesn't take away from the actual design of the tags.
  • String up with festive Baker's Twine.
  • Both of these printables print with four tags or passes per page.
  • The message on the hall passes reads:
    • Official Teacher Hall Pass | Good for a night off and lots of self-care.
  • Messages included on the teacher gift tags are:
    • Sending Well Wishes for a Wonderful Winter Break!
    • Happy Holidays! Enjoy Winter Break.
    • Seasons Greetings and Wellness Wishes!
    • Merry Christmas to a Wonderful Teacher!

Make a Teacher Wellness Basket

For the holidays, or just the winter season in general, a wellness basket is both practical and thoughtful, especially for teachers who are around lots of kids (and germs) almost every day. Grab a festive basket or bucket, some paper shreds (at Walmart in the gift wrap area), and a tag.

Pile all of your Vicks products for cold and flu season into your container on top of the paper shreds. Add in some tissue and comfy socks for a special touch, too. Tie your tag to the handles and you have a great gift (that will actually get used!). Several of my teacher gift tags are specifically for wellness-minded gifts. Be sure to tuck in a teacher hall pass so your educator knows to take some time for themselves.

Teacher Christmas Gift Ideas
If you're doing several teacher gifts (that's the category we fall into these days with middle and high school teachers), grab a fun holiday mug and tuck a few packets of the Vicks Flu Therapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Treatment (both nighttime and daytime versions available) into your mugs. I know when I'm sick, it's helpful to have these kinds of things on hand at the ready, rather than running to the store when feeling less-than-fabulous. Attach one of my teacher gift tags and you have an instant gift (for multiple teachers, too).

The Vicks Non-Drowsy FluTherapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Treatment is a hot drink that provides fast, powerful cold and flu symptom relief. It can help with the following symptoms: nasal congestion, sore throat, body aches, fever and cough. The tasty honey lemon flavor also gives off soothing Vicks Vapors, perfect for those 12 and up.

The Vicks Night Time FluTherapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Treatment is just like the non-drowsy version, except for bed time. FluTherapy provides that same powerful, soothing experience from Vicks that we're all accustomed to having.
