Mop It Up Mondays #13

Would love for you to join us this way, too:

So many fun {& YUMMY} things linked up last week. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and party with me. It is the highlight of my bloggy week!

If you were featured, feel free to grab a button.

It's pretty much summertime here (y'all, I live in Texas, summer's from March to November)...so these Key Lime Lime Cupcakes that Kim (from Cups By Kim) created are totally calling my name. So amazing with that crumb topping!

Another super smart cookie out there....Artsy VaVa created a Fabric Covered Magnetic Frame from metal bookends! Talk about a fabulous upcycle! This would be such a cute Teacher Appreciation or Graduation gift!

Deena {the Stay-at-Home Foodie} wowed us with this gorgeous Zucchini Carpaccio that she created for her family's Passover meal. I'm in awe. And she generously shared her recipe for this one!

Ashley, who hails from Texas, too (yee & haw!), made a family affair out of creating this stunning Farmhouse Table & Bench on her blog, Domestic Imperfection. Unreal. Her husband and his brothers have some mad wood-working skills. They made another one that's for sale in the San Antonio area {thinkin' I made need to hop on I-35 and head on down there}!

Victoria, from Vixen Made, shared her adorable Medical Party! We live close to a large teaching hospital. I know a few friends who would adore this as they finish up their long residencies! You have to see the details on this one...jello cups (duh), marshmallow cotton balls, jelly bean-filled pill cups and more. It's all so fun!

Betsy Speert had me at her split reed vanity with the gorgeous basin sink. This Tropical Powder Room makes me want to hop a plane down to Florida. So much fun in there...check it out!

No monkeying around....Jill from Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons has a healthy chocolate snack your kids will go bananas for (heehee...promise I'm done with the cheesy puns!). She created this from all-natural foods, including chick peas, dates and vegan chocolate chips. Her kids couldn't get enough and mine won't be able to either!

The Consigner Designer, Jen, put together this gorgeous cloche from a vase, ash tray and a mini bell jar. It's too fun! She also gives a great tutorial for covering the fruit pieces with French newspapers!

Bronwyn, over at Queen B-Creative Me showed us this fabulous piece of art showcasing special places to her family. She printed maps from Mapquest and created such a special keepsake.

Can you believe this Pecan Pralines Upside Down cake was made in a slow cooker? Holly over at A Baker's House shows step-by-step instructions on removing the crock from your slow cooker to use it to bake in. Where've I been? This is genius.

Night Garden Design showed us how she put together a precious Antique-Style Tape Measure Growth Chart. I love kitschy stuff like this...it makes me so happy!

    1. Jen-- even though you're an Aggie, I'll still gladly be friends in the bloggy world...LOL! I'm originally from Austin, and although I went to college in Abilene, my family's burnt orange roots still run a bit deep! :) But seriously, it's always AWESOME to meet others in this crafty world that are so close by! Heading to check out your blog right now! Thanks bunches for stopping by! Ahhh...crafting: a place where aggies & longhorns can peacefully mingle! :)

  22. I joined your party this week but I didn't have a craft or recipe this time. My entry was unusual, a post about a car show, but there were many families, and artsy things there! I think your blog is wonderful, so I'm now following and checking out your previous posts!
    Have a fantastic week! Linda
