Throwing a Family-Friendly New Year's Eve Party

Do you love New Year's Eve as much as I do? I've got some fun tips to throw a party for all of your friends...and their kiddos! #NabiscoHolidayParties
Throwing a Family Friendly New Year's Eve Party /// Free kiddo resolution printables.
Before kids came along, New Year's Eve parties were no-brainers. But with kiddos, celebrating {and keeping littles entertained allllllll the way until midnight} can take a little bit of planning and ingenuity. I've got some fun tips, including free printables below.
The biggest priority? The food. Having a mix of both grown up dishes and kiddie treats is key.

Nabisco has some delicious ideas on their NYE Soiree Pinterest board to make your party really tasty! There's something for everyone. Click here to see it all. Below, check out the Hot Apple Pie Dip I made a few weeks ago. Check out the recipe here.

This dish would be perfect for a New Year's Eve party. It's the perfect dish for both kiddos and grown ups. The melted cheese just makes it AMAZING!

Other Nabisco recipes that would be perfect for a family-friendly New Year's Party include Cheese and Pear Toppers, Cheesy Bacon "Fun-Due", and these Mini Oreo Surprise Cupcakes.
It's also good to think about serving several rounds of food throughout the evening. New Year's Eve parties tend to be a bit longer than the average party. Having appetizers, finger foods, and even a round of desserts & coffee around midnight is a great way to keep guests fed and fueled to party all night long!

Having a few fun activities is a fantastic way to keep everyone entertained as well. From group games to reminiscing about the previous year...having a few things to do {besides the main countdown} is a great way to keep the party flowing.

Below are some simple printables to keep the younger ones entertained. I love making resolutions...these are a great way to teach kiddos that tradition as well.

One printable is perfect for little ones to draw their new year's fun on, and the other is great for older children to fill in the blanks. Even grown ups could have a little fun with either of these!
