This Free Printable Valentine's Banner is the perfect way to add a little love just about anywhere! It's perfection for all of the glitter-phobes out there...you get the twinkly stuff without all the mess. Sparkle on, friends.
I constantly see that people have this super interesting fear, if you will. A fear of...(dum-dum-dummmmm)...glitter. And you know what? I feel that pain. Glitter is like lice...once it's in your home, you pretty much have to rip out your carpet to get every trace of it out (I've yet to find a "glitter comb"). I'm a girl who has been living with glitter-fied carpet for years now. I only use glitter in my office...but it like, moves on its own from room to room. So, I thought I'd help all of the non-sparkly homes of the world out. This free printable Valentine's banner has the glitter embedded in it. It just prints like a graphic. Download this mess-free number below.

Above is a bit of up-close proof of the built-in glitter on this banner. There are both red and pink hearts on this one. I think they're darling mixed in the same banner.
I strung mine up on my chalkboard in our entryway for a little touch of Valentine's sweetness. Banners like this are fun because you can print as many pennants as you like...making it easy to adjust your length as you see fit. I thought it would be fun to alternate the pink and red. But you can just use one color, if you prefer.
Printing and Using Your Banner
This free printable Valentine's banner is for personal use. However, if you do want to carry the printed version in your small shop or business (no digital reselling is ever permitted), you can purchase a commercial license here.
Supplies
- white, letter-sized cardstock for printing your Valentine banner (regular paper is too thin for banners of this nature)
- hole punch (as usual, I do highly recommend this smaller, 1/8" hole punch, so it doesn't take away from your banner's design)
- baker's twine for stringing (I used this black and white baker's twine from Amazon)
- scissors
- optional: paper trimmer to cut the envelopes out easily...especially if you're cutting quite a few
- I really enjoy using my Fiskar's Paper Trimmer (pictured above).
Directions
- Print your banner onto the cardstock.
- Cut out the pennants with scissors or a paper cutter.
- Hole punch each end of each pennant and string your baker's twine through to make your banner (I find it helpful to use Scotch tape on the end of my twine for easier stringing).
- Feel free to print as many copies of your download as needed for your desired length of banner. You can see above the size of each pennant.

My daughter got glitter in her hair (well, her cousin sprinkled it on her). It took foooooorever to get out. I think it may be worse than lice. All the same, I can't stop my love of bling!
