Man, I love a good frilly and feminine banner. I placed this in my entryway for photos (since I can get lots of good light with the front door open). I totally left it here since I liked it so much. You can make this banner with or without the scalloped edge...it's super versatile. Grab this free printable banner below.

I alternated the colors, but you can also just do a solid banner, if you prefer.

I used a 2" scalloped craft punch to achieve that frilly look. I designed these circles to be a bit larger than the 2" size, so you won't have any of the white showing when you punch(I always need a margin for error!). You could use a plain punch, too...or just cut the circles with scissors. You'll also need glue and twine. The mini clothespins are used to hold the circles "shut" while the glue dries.

Grab my favorite scalloped punch HERE on Amazon.
Be sure to grab the extra large size.

I honestly think using a punch is the absolute easiest.
I got carried away and now have enough scalloped circles to make a one-mile banner(ish).

Be sure to cut a length of twine for your banner(s).

Prefold the circles in half. Then add a dab of glue and "close" the circle with your twine sitting in the fold. Just keep adding circles until you reach your desired length.

Use clothespins (these are mini ones) or similar on the folded circles until the glue dries.
Then just remove the clothespins and hang your banner(s) up.

This printable banner works best on PLAIN WHITE PAPER.
Card stock is too thick to get a good, frilly fold.
