Halloween Coffee Bar with World Market Goodness

My Halloween Coffee Bar is brought to you by my friends at World Market.

I had so much fun putting together this spooktacular coffee bar in the breakfast area of our kitchen. All of the fun glitter items, along with potion bottles and fun glassware made it hauntingly good. Aren't Halloween decorations the best? This will be the perfect spot for parents to hang out and caffeinate when we have our kids' Halloween gathering at the end of October. We'll have goodies for the kids and loads of coffee for their folks!

Halloween Coffee Bar with Spooktacular Halloween Decor
I love changing up this area for the seasons. With the open shelves and plain white dishes that are usually housed here, it's easy to add some fun items to make it fit in perfectly with holidays. Right now, it's decked out head-to-toe in Halloween goodness from World Market. Check out all of the fun below, along with product details for everything you see here>>>

I am Brave and Beautiful

I am Brave and Beautiful - a beauty movement that is sweeping the globe. Colbie Caillat started it with her recent song and video called TRY. My blogging friend Megan of Brassy Apple wanted to push this movement along and invited women from all over to share what they looked like without make up and I joined in!! Colbie's song says, "Take your make up off. Let your hair down... Look into the mirror at yourself, Do you like you? Cause I like you... "
Megan and her friend Cobi of Peacefrom6pieces have been the team behind this whole project. Their worldwide vision included creating their own video inspired by the song TRY. The talent of Robbins Creative made it possible for them to pull it off. You have to click play and see the beauty and bravery displayed and you might even recognize a few faces in there. DIY Neutral Wreath

Hey there, Brett here from Being-Bianca.com, here with a fabulous DIY Neutral Wreath!

I suppose it's appropriate to say "Happy Fall, Y'all!", even though I'm holding on to these fabulous, warm temperatures for as long as I can! I'm in the early stages of swapping out my fall decor and adding festive touches throughout the house. I just love this time of year! In my kitchen, I wanted to keep with the neutral stylings, so I added a simple DIY Neutral Wreath to one of my vignettes.

DIY Neutral Wreath Tutorial

This wreath is as easy as they come. It's made from coffee filters and takes just a few dollars and a few minutes to make. Easy on my time and easy on my pocket ... score! While it looks minimalist in its own right, the classic and neutral accent was just what this space needed.
Check out how to make my DIY Neutral Wreath below>>>

Cheesy Roasted Veggie Patties

Hi again, friends!  It's me Claire from A Little CLAIREification with a super easy {and cheesy} Fall friendly recipe just for you: Cheesy Roasted Veggie Patties!

With the onset of Fall, we have had an abundance of fresh veggies from our patio container garden and corn has also been so cheap and readily available so I thought these Cheesy Roasted Veggie Patties would be a great way to use up some of the surplus.
These Cheesy Roasted Veggie Patties are easy to make and the recipe is so flexible that you can adapt it to whatever ingredients your family loves!
"Eat Your Veggies...or else!"  Sound familiar?  That can sometimes be a tough sell in our house because everyone has a certain favorite vegetable and incorporating the ones we ALL like into a recipe can be a little tricky.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Oatmeal Bars

These Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Oatmeal Bars are the perfect treat...
or even breakfast-to-go! They're delicious and packed with the flavors of fall.
Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Oatmeal Bars | Only 3 Points Plus: the perfect Weight Watchers recipe | The perfect on-the-go fall breakfast!
I cannot lie. We're on week four of school and already I'm throwing cereal in a bag with them as they head out the door. Considering we live across the street from the school, breakfast is ridiculously rushed.

I've been making the pumpkin oatmeal square from Sally's Baking Addiction for two years now and realized they'd be a great solution to my lack-of-breakfast preparation {usually when I make them, they may or may not make it all the way to breakfast from the night before binge we have with Sally's bars}. Recently, I started playing around with the recipe and came up with this one, using some of our own favorite ingredients. I'm super excited to share my twist on this recipe with you. We're calling them Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Oatmeal Bars, but you can just call them YUMMY!

Lunchbox-Ready Freezer Muffins

Fall seems like a super muffin-y time of year. I just want to bake all the live long day. I recently did that and knocked out a bunch of lunchbox-ready freezer muffins. I take them from the freezer that morning and they thaw by my kids' lunchtimes.

Over a dozen lunchbox-ready freezer muffins | Take from the freezer and they thaw by lunch!
Are you a muffin junkie, too? I think they're like a homemade version of convenience foods for lunch boxes. And they can be healthy, too...score! I've rounded up several of my favorite freezer ones that I've created. I also found some yummy ones at this past week's Inspiration Monday to include as well.

Some of these are savory and make a great "main dish" in a lunch box. Some are sweet and make a nice dessert. And sometimes, I just want to not make a sandwich, so I stick a muffin in their lunch and call it good. Any way you make lunches...muffins are always a good thing! Check these babies out below>>>

DIY Chore Boards for Kids

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Finish Dishwasher Detergent.
All opinions are mine alone. #SparklySavings #CollectiveBias

These DIY Chore Boards are perfect to motivate kids to help around the house. This summer, my boys added dishwasher duties to their chore routines: they load, empty and use dishwasher detergent with ease these days. See how I made these boards below. Also, grab a fantastic coupon for Finish Detergent and a free printable for the chore cards, too.
Do your kids participate in household chores? My kids do...but to be honest, they can be more motivated by the monetary reward rather than the actual satisfaction of completing the chore. See how I made these super simple boards below for them>>>
