It's hard to believe it, but the summer break is half over. This is the time of year we start  to prepare for school starting. And when school starts...it's just busy. This quick fix meal is perfect for a busy evening filled with homework, school activities and extra-curricular events that keep us all hopping.

To keep it simple, I used Tyson Chicken Patties to make these.

Tyson has an awesome program going on that can benefit your school, Tyson Project A+.
My boys' school, Timber Ridge Elementary, is already a part of the program.
We can't wait to start saving our Project A+ labels to help our school earn money this coming school year.

Unlike other school programs, each Tyson Project A+ label is worth $.24 for the school you save it for. That's fabulous!

When purchasing Tyson projects, look for this label.

Simply clip your label and save it for your school. Turn it in and your school can send it in for money to benefit their programs.

The Tyson Project A+ website has some great information to help you and your school get started earning money for school use. Click on one of the Get Started links to see if your school is registered.

When I checked the site, my school was already registered! After chatting with my PTA president, we're super excited to get saving even more with this program this upcoming school year.

There's also some super fun ideas to get everyone excited to save for your school! Our school has contests for label programs to see which class can save the MOST. My third grader's class won several times last year. They were rewarded with a pizza or popsicle party. It was "way cool"...according to my guy.

We love to get our own kids excited about the program. They also ask grandparents and other friends, who don't have kids in school, to save labels for them. And they're always so happy to do it...because that's money in our school's pocket.

And while you're saving for your school, you can get some YUMMY stuff for your dinner table. These Chicken Parm Sandwiches start with those Tyson Chicken Patties, Ciabatta rolls {or whatever buns you like}, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce {I like the fresh, refrigerated kind}, fresh basil, olive oil and Italian seasoning.

I lightly brush my patties with the olive oil,
then sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Flip and repeat.
Bake at 400 for 17-20 minutes.

Assemble the sandwiches with the rolls, the sauce, cheese and basil. This is fun for the kids to get in on, too. You can even brush olive oil on the rolls and toast them, too. I had a hungry mob on my hands, so I skipped that this time.

Mangia!

If you'd like to start saving for your school, head over to the Tyson Project A+ site for more information. And stay up-to-date on all of the latest products to make your dinner time easier...check out the Club Tyson Facebook Page.
