Mop It Up Mondays #18

Happy day to you, friends! It's been a fun week: our little man graduated from preschool & is headed to kindergarten next year! We've got one more week of actual school and then we can really let loose and enjoy summer!

This dish caught my eye immediately. We've switched to the low carb/gluten free lifestyle around here and this is on my menu for this week! PERFECTION in a bowl. Life Currents linked up this awesome looking Baked Asiago & Rosemary Eggs. Can't wait to give it a go.

Aimee from Twigg Studios shares a wonderful tutorial on how to create your own Vintage Effect Mercury Glass. Love the look of these...can think of 1,000 things I could do this to!

Katie over at Pincushion Creations gave us a wonderful summer dessert with these {Coconut} Rice Krispie Treats. The chocolate drizzle she added makes them so pretty & a bit decadent!

How smart is this? After seeing the skirt hanging in her closet for a while, Rose from A Rosie Sweet Home, did a ten minute transformation to create a gorgeous shirt. I think this is so fabulous.

Another yummy seasonal dessert! Eat Cake for Dinner linked up a lovely Strawberry Coconut Pound Cake. Mmmm...who's ready for a summer picnic?

Carrie from Hooked on Decorating gave us a great use for all of those cute tea cups & milk glass that are hidden away. Look at this sweet DIY Pin Cushion she put together! I love the fabric, too!

I have an obsessive personality...no joke. My current obsession is DaVinci & Torani Sugar Free Syrups. They are the answer to a sweet fix for me. I was giddy when I saw this adorable Italian Soda Bar linked up by Rita at Pink Polka Dot Creations. From the adorable straws, to the FUN chalkboard instructions to all those swoon-worthy syrups {yes, I swoon for syrup}...this is too cute!! Love it. And will be having Italian soda all week long now!

Oh, Ashley...I was delighted when I saw that you put this treatment tutorial into a post of its own! Her adorable table from last week had this treatment on its legs and now she's got it in tutorial form for all of us who want to be Ashley when we grow up {I'm totally in denial that I'm painfully older than Ashley}. Geez-A-Lou, the food links last week were incredible! The Harried Mom gave us some fabulous tips for selecting and grilling scallops. Mmm...ready for some seafood!

You've got to check out Betsy's Country Cottage Living Room over at Betsy Speert's Blog. It's so beautiful and there's a trick she teaches us involving windows. I won't give it away, but it's goooood.
